We are getting married!

We met in Cheryl and Bryans driveway prior to a lunch date they asked me to go on with them. Taylor being the responsible man he is, did not join because he had homework to do. Later that evening I texted Bryan and Cheryl to ask about their friend and found out Taylor had texted to ask about me also! Life was crazy at the time, so it wasn't until 4 months later, that we both got invited to Rudy's BBQ for 4th of July dinner with Bryan and Cheryl. I think you can go ahead and call them our match makers ;) Taylor asked me out after dinner and we spent the rest of the night talking about our past, present and future, and THAT is how our love story began.

Sometimes, when you know, you know, but still have to wait! We waited 4 months for a first date, a 9 month deployment to meet again, and a duty station transfer before the beginning of our happily ever after. It's Veterans Day and I have to work. Taylor and Devin spend the day hiking. I get home early and Taylor tells me we are going on a trip and I need to dress "selfie ready"! So I get ready and we drive 2 hours to Hollywood, CA. The drive was stressful, because California people are CRAZY! We have amazing pub food at Tom Berkins Irish Pub and then head to Urban Lights. If you don't know what that is, you should google it. As we laugh at everyone taking selfies and Devin and I goof around, Taylor wraps his arms around me and starts talking about how much he loves me and how he promises to always keep me and Devin safe and make us a priority. Super sweet, right?! But it made me uncomfortable and I start trying to make jokes to lighten the mood. Then Taylor hands the phone to Devin for pictures and gets on his knee. NOW I know what was happening! He starts talking, but if you know me, I'm impatient and I blurt out (in my nervousness) WILL YOU MARRY ME? Taylor tells me I'm ruining it and we both laugh. He finally gets to the part where he asks me to spend forever with him and of course I said YES! I cried and people clapped. THE BEGINNING...
