As the Best Man, one needs to put up with quite a lot. Well, if someone were to tell Mike – or MJ - that he would also need to get punched in the FACE multiple times by the groom in order to pass the initial Best Man test, lets just say Mike got an A+ (always the over-achiever that one!). While they didn’t quite see eye-to-eye in their childhood days, that dramatically changed as the years went on. Mike’s constant support, humor, and his ever-so-appreciated “hot takes”, always seem to come at the right time based on the circumstance.

As the big sister, Caitlin has always tried to keep "Emmy Gwace" in line - with varying levels of success. Growing up, they were constantly making up dance routines, giving private ukulele concerts and dressing in wild and crazy fashions from the dress-up closet. Now Caitlin is a busy mama to two girlies who have their own dress-up tickle trunk; a gift from Auntie Em.

Andrew and Shane have been friends for close to twenty years and counting. Through elementary, middle, and high-school, the two always seemed to be intertwined – whether it was playing on the same baseball team, filming compelling Shakespearean re-enactments, jamming music together, or casually holding hands on the roller coaster. These two have many stories to tell, and many more that will come in the future.

Julie and Emily met on the playground before their first day of kindergarten. They made it through the "dark ages" together (you know, that awkward stage of puberty between 8 and 14) and have had many adventures since then. Julie is a mama to Kai and little baby Ronan.
Andrew Gregg

Andrew, or “AG” as he is better known as (having two besties named Andrew can be tough), came into the picture around 10 years ago. When Mike brought him out on one of their annual “Boys Trips,” he immediately became a friend for life when he introduced to Shane to the “sock concept” – hiding a can of beer in a sweaty sock so that you can drink in public without anyone raising an eyebrow.

Emily likes to remind Jacquie that they became friends in Grade 6 after the popular girls ditched her. But Jacquie never lets Emily forget that she has witnessed almost all of her mortifying klutzy moments, especially ones involving slurpees. It's true friendship! Jacquie lives in Campbell River and is mama to Linden and Rylee.

Josie lives in Vancouver but enjoys extended week-long vacations at Grandma and Pappy's house in North Saanich where she feasts on prime rib and practices her scooter tricks at the skate park. She has always liked visiting Uncle Shane but these days it's no secret that she is more excited to see Emily.

Natty Bean just turned 4. She likes pink, loves all animals, especially unicorns and sometimes she's too smart for her own good. "I'm so 'cited to wear a pretty dress and bare legs in AuntieEmShane's wedding!"

Lisey-Lou-Lou is 1.5 and she has a big personality and a loud voice - you will probably hear her before you see her! She like cuddles, bopping to music and her silly family.
