Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! We have decided to have only our flower girls (who happen to be our nieces) and infants under 12 months. Thanks for understanding and enjoy!

How are people getting from the ceremony venue to the reception?

Answer

It's about a 12 minute drive from the Gardens at HCP to The Beach House Restaurant. Hopefully you won't be too inebriated to drive at 5 o'clock (although, being drunk on love is totally acceptable). If you won't have a vehicle with you, we'll have a few taxis pre-booked for pick up at 5:00 pm. Alternatively, we may be able to find you some carpooling buddies! What can I do between the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

We strategically scheduled our wedding day so that our guests wouldn't have a bunch of time in between the ceremony and reception. Cuz no one likes that. Doors will open at The Beach House at 5:15 pm and there will be snacks and beverages available. But if you want to fill that short period of time with something fun, we recommend grabbing a coffee at Royal Oak Shopping Centre (a couple minutes from the gardens) or doing a little shopping at Mattick's Farm (just 5 minutes up the road from The Beach House).
