Alyssa and Shelly met 9 years ago at the University of Tennessee at Martin when Shelly joined the sorority of Chi Omega. Alyssa is Shelly's Chi O Big Sister. But they act more like biological sisters. Even after 9 years, they are still the best of friends! They continue to bond over a shared love of Stardew Valley and Tik Tok.

Kate and Shelly met at the University of Tennessee at Martin, through their involvement as Rhomates of Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity. Kate and Shelly grew closer as Kate started an internship in the lab Shelly was pursuing a Masters degree in, and Shelly was even Kate's Maid of Honor in 2020.
Kaitlyn Dyer

Kaitlyn and Shelly met at the University of Tennessee at Martin when Kaitlyn joined the sorority of Chi Omega in 2016. Shelly is Kaitlyn's Chi O Grand-Big and was even the Maid of Honor in her wedding this past January (2023)! If you are ever on a road trip with these two, you can expect to listen to the entire Hamilton soundtrack.
McKayla Cunningham

McKayla and Shelly met through mutual friends at the University of Tennessee at Martin. McKayla is a sister of Alpha Delta Pi, and she and Shelly supported each other through many sorority events. Shelly has been to several of McKayla's art shows, and the two share a love of cute cat memes.
Cassidy Robinson

Cassidy and Shelly met at Ridgemont Elementary School in 8th grade (2009). The two cheered together in middle and high school until Cassidy moved back to Arizona. Cassidy still has family in Shelly's hometown, and they see each other as often as they can. Years and miles have definitely not gotten in the way of this friendship!
Mary Ali Oliver

Shelly and Mary Ali met in the Obion County Livestock sale barn during their middle school years. Shelly showed Lambs, and Mary Ali showed Cattle. When Shelly moved to Knoxville for grad school, she and Mary Ali grew even closer. Shelly and Mary Ali continue to bond over their shared love of beer flights, Chi Omega, and the Tennessee Volunteers.
Allyson Dekovich

Allyson and Shelly met in Knoxville, and they are both PhD students in the Department of Entomology and Plant Pathology. Shelly and Allyson have become really close over the last year. They often get together to talk about their favorite alternative rock bands, show each other pictures of their pet cats, and eat Cruze Farm's Ice Cream.

Lindley is Shelly's future sister-in-law. They like to bond over their love of cute cats, crafts, and dominoes at the Dixie Chicken. They also enjoy helping Dawson and Cody pick out the best fireworks to shoot off every year for 4th of July.
Tanner Holligan

Tanner is Dawson's best friend. They met in middle school and the two have been close ever since. Over the years, they have gotten into PLENTY of mischief. However, as they have grown up together, they now are big sources of encouragement for the other. The two talk almost daily, and Dawson is honored to have Tanner as his Best Man.
Cody Kerns

Cody is Dawson's older brother. When the two aren't arguing over boardgames, they like to discuss video games and politics. Growing up, Cody always made sure Dawson felt included, and today they continue to be a support system for each other.
Jimmy Kerns

Jimmy is Dawson's younger brother. Both Jimmy and Dawson like to talk about video games and occasionally swap music recommendations. Both are also carrying on the family tradition of working in agriculture.
Hunter Hail

Hunter and Dawson met in high school but became even closer when they were roommates in College Station. The two also worked together in the field during the summers for Texas AgriLife Extension as undergrads. Through the years, Hunter has remained a very loyal friend.
July Jost

Although they are family, July and Dawson became close friends when they attended Texas A&M together. Dawson and July were also college roommates, and Dawson stood by his side when July married his wife. The two cousins like to catch up over Mexican food whenever Dawson visits College Station.
Ty Smith

Once roommates, Ty and Dawson met at the West Tennessee Research and Education While in grad school. Both Ty and Dawson share an appreciation of good food, good music, and good whiskey.
Isaiah Garcia

Isaiah and Dawson met in Lubbock, TX. Their most recent escapades included winning cold hard cash by playing a Wizard-of-Oz themed slot machine in Bangor, Maine during Dawson's bachelor party, which Dawson says is now one of his new favorite memories with Isaiah.
Bo James

Bo and Dawson also met in high school in Lubbock, TX. Although Dawson likes to play video games with all of his friends, it's Bo who Dawson most aligns with on the types of games they like to play. You can usually catch these two on Discord while they are playing Total War or Baldur's Gate 3.
Jimmy Reimer

Jimmy is another member of the group of friends Dawson met in Lubbock, TX. Although they met in high school, they actually became closer after Dawson moved away. Jimmy often provides the comic relief in their friend group, the comedy most often stemming from his lack of video game skills, or the situations he gets himself into. All in all, Jimmy is a dedicated light-hearted friend.
