Women should wear a formal floor-length evening gown or cocktail dress, no exceptions. Pair your dress with jewelry, heels, and an elegant purse. Men are required to wear a tuxedo or suit with a bowtie or tie, a formal shirt, and formal footwear, such as derby shoes or oxfords. Please do not wear no white, blush, cream, gold, or ivory.
Our ceremony will be an unplugged event, we kindly request that guest do not record or take photos during the wedding ceremony. Once the ceremony is over, we encourage guests to take and post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #DestinedtobeDavy so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
We recommend that you arrive 45 minutes to an hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

The currency of Jamaica is the Jamaica Dollar (JMD). The Jamaica rate of exchange changes daily. It is advised to change your currency into Jamaican money when you arrive in Jamaica, not before you depart your own country. Upon arrival in Jamaica use a Cambio which specializes in Jamaican money and other currency conversion, do not exchange currency in the airport, you will get more for your money at a Cambio. The US dollar is also accepted in Jamaica, although you will be given your change back in JA -- bring a calculator with you so you know what you are suppose to be receiving back. Don't expect roadside merchants to have exact change if you give them US dollars, it is best to pay them in JA.
