OPELIKA
The ceremony is located in Opelika, a smaller charming town known for it's historic areas and sense of community. Downtown Opelika is a great place to walk around and pop into small shops, restaurants, and breweries. Tiger Town is a more commercial area with more shopping and chain restaurant options. Tigertown is closer to Auburn and only a 5 minute drive to downtown Opelika.

AUBURN
The venue for the reception is located in Auburn. This is the home one of Alabama's biggest universities, but still has that small-town feel. You can explore the beautiful college campus, lively downtown, and more diverse culinary options. Auburn is a 15-20 minute drive to Opelika, and is a great place to stay if you would like to explore a southern college town with a youthful energy.
Flight
ATL - Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport
Atlanta airport has direct flights from SJO Costa Rica and most major airports. The airport is an 80 min drive from Opelika. Remember that the airport in Georgia is on Eastern time and Alabama in on Central time (AL is 1 hour earlier) We highly recommend renting a car from the airport for the weekend! The second best option is to take the Groome Shuttle Bus service to Opelika. Details for Groome are below.

Airport Shuttle - Groome Transportation to Opelika/Auburn
The Groome shuttle runs several round trips a day from the Atlanta Airport to Opelika. We think it's the easiest way to get to and from the airport if you're not renting a car. The shuttle will drop you off at Home 2 Suites Hotel in Tiger Town (Opelika). The Shuttle is $65.00 each way but you must reserve each trip in advance.
