When should I RSVP by?

We kindly request to RSVP by 2/16/2026. If you need more time to figure out your schedule, please just let us know!

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are not registered anywhere and kindly request no boxed gifts. If you wish to contribute, we’ve created a fund toward our future first home. Contributions can be made via Venmo (@shelley-maithel) or Zelle (shelleymaithel@gmail.com). Thank you for celebrating with us and being part of our journey!

Can I bring a plus-one?

If your invitation includes a plus-one, it will be reflected when you RSVP. Due to venue capacity, we’re unable to accommodate additional guests beyond those listed. That said, if you believe we may have accidentally missed someone on your invitation, please reach out and let us know—we’re happy to double-check.

Are children welcome?

Answer

Yes! Children are welcome on Friday. Please let us know the full names and ages of any children you plan to bring, as we are hoping to arrange a babysitter during the Friday ceremony and reception at the on-property Airbnbs so that parents can fully enjoy the evening. Also let us know if they require a children's meal or adult meal for the Friday event. Please note that childcare will only be available for the Friday event. The Saturday celebration will be significantly busier and louder, and we feel it may not be the best environment for younger children.

Will childcare be available?

Answer

On Friday, babysitting can be arranged for registered children if interest is sufficient. Details will be shared after RSVPs are collected. There will be no babysitting on Saturday.

What is the dress code?

• Friday: Elevated cocktail attire (Women: Cocktail/Formal attire, Men: Suits/tuxes with ties) • Saturday: Indian attire or Formal/Semi-Formal Western attire

How does parking work?

Answer

• Friday (Rancho Las Lomas): Valet parking only. • Saturday (R Banquet): Self-parking will be readily and easily available at the venue.

Are there hotel blocks?

Answer

We did not arrange hotel blocks, as we found that better rates were available online. If you’re having trouble choosing a place to stay, feel free to reach out and we’re happy to help. For reference, we’ll be staying on the venue property in Rancho Las Lomas on Friday and in a rental home in Hacienda Heights, which is near R banquet (15 minutes North) on Saturday.

What kind of food will be served?

Answer

We’ll be serving Italian food on Friday and Indian food on Saturday, both buffet-style with vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.
