FAQs

Please read through these before reaching out to the bride and groom with questions, but if you’re unsure, please verify with one of us!
Question

When is my RSVP due?

Answer

March 6, 2025. We have to submit our final numbers to the catering, so please respect our deadline.

Question

Can I bring a gift?

Answer

Your presence is all that we ask on our special day! However, if you wish to donate to our honeymoon fund, we greatly appreciate it! We will have a QR code displayed on our wedding day or you can visit our registry section of this website :)

Question

Where should I stay if I am coming from out of town?

Answer

The bride and groom will be staying at the Hilton DoubleTree Suites at 1665 N. Stateroute A1a, Melbourne, FL 32903. A block of rooms has been secured. When booking a room, tell them you are with Shelby&Zach’s wedding! The phone number is (321) 723-4222. Contact the bride or groom if you need assistance. You are more than welcome to choose alternative accommodations that better suit your needs!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unless specified on your invitation, a plus one is NOT permitted. We would like our wedding and reception to be shared with those closest to us. However, plus ones are welcome to join the after party downtown and Sunday Funday! Please contact the bride or groom with questions.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes. Kids are allowed at the wedding and reception, but not the after party. Please be mindful during the ceremony and special parts of reception and step away if needed. We fully understand and will not be offended. Childcare is an option that we will offer at the venue.

Question

Will there be childcare provided?

Answer

A certified childcare provider will be available 4-10pm and cost $15/child-paid in advance with your RSVP. There will be a separate, supervised room at the venue with games, coloring, and TV/Netflix. Children must be fully potty trained, although someone will be able to accompany them to the restroom as needed. Please text the bride directly (321-477-3583) if you will be utilizing this service, by March 6, 2025 so that she can secure a spot for your child. There will be a sign in and out sheet for the children in care!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal. Jeans and tshirts will not be permitted. Get dressed up with us! NO white, cream, ivory or anything close :) The ceremony is outside, on paved ground. The reception is primarily inside.

Question

What time should I arrive at the venue?

Answer

Guests should begin to arrive at 3:45pm and be seated by 4:30pm.

Question

Is the wedding inside or outside?

Answer

The ceremony is outside (paved area) and the reception is primarily indoors.

Question

Will food be provided?

Answer

Yes. A Mexican style (grooms favorite) and Asian style (brides favorite) buffet will be provided for guests to choose what they enjoy! There will be a separate selection of food for children to include chicken nuggets, macaroni and cheese and fruit.

Question

Will alcohol be served?

Answer

Yes. There will be an open bar.

Question

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

Please keep the ceremony FREE OF DEVICES! We would like our guests to be present and the photographer/videographer to be able to capture the precious moments! Feel free to take pictures before and after and make sure to share them with the happy couple!

Question

Will there be transportation from the hotel to venue?

Answer

TBD

Question

Will there be assigned seating?

Answer

No. We want our guests to feel free to choose where they’re most comfortable sitting and be open to meeting someone new that is special to the bride and groom!
