Shelby was the first one to make a move by answering one of Sami's Hinge profile questions. "What's your favorite animal and why?" Shelby's response was, "My favorite animal is a Giraffe because they are tall and clumsy and I'm short and clumsy." When Sami saw the message she thought it was cute and funny and knew this was someone she wanted to get to know more. Fast forward to our first date at Hourglass Brewery where we met. When Shelby laid eyes on Sami she realized that Sami was going to change her life forever, and it felt like the best thing that could have happened. The first thing Sami heard from Shelby was her cute giggle and knew that was something she could hear for the rest of her life. We had drinks and talked/laughed for hours. Next thing we knew, the brewery was closing but we were just beginning. and that's what you missed on GLEE!
