The Deck
If you’re looking for a fun place to hang out while you’re in town, check out The Deck in downtown Fort Wayne! It’s one of Nick and Shelby’s favorite spots—perfect for relaxing by the river with great food, drinks, and a lively atmosphere. A must-visit during your stay!
Parkview Field
Located in the heart of downtown, Parkview Field is home to the Fort Wayne TinCaps, our minor league baseball team! Even if you’re not a big baseball fan, it’s a fun place to catch a game, grab a drink, and enjoy the lively atmosphere—especially on summer nights when there are fireworks after the game!
The Landing
The Landing is one of Fort Wayne’s best downtown spots, filled with unique restaurants, local bars, and shops—all within a few walkable blocks. It’s the perfect place to grab dinner, drinks, or dessert while exploring the city. Nick and Shelby love spending evenings here, trying new places and soaking in the lively downtown atmosphere!
Fort Wayne Zoo
The Fort Wayne Zoo is one of the top-ranked zoos in the country and a fun stop for guests of all ages! From giraffe feedings to the sky ride, there’s plenty to explore and enjoy. It’s a great way to spend a few hours while you’re in town—and one of Fort Wayne’s most popular attractions!
Foellinger-Freimann Botanical Conservatory
Right in downtown Fort Wayne, the Botanical Conservatory is a peaceful escape filled with lush gardens, waterfalls, and beautiful seasonal displays. It’s a great spot to explore or take photos, especially if you’re looking for something relaxing to do between wedding events. Shelby loves visiting for the tropical plants and the calm atmosphere!
Chestnut Hills Golf Club
For a relaxing day outdoors, Chestnut Hills Golf Club is a must-visit in Fort Wayne. With its beautiful course and scenic views, it’s one of Nick’s favorites—perfect for golf enthusiasts or anyone who enjoys a peaceful escape.
