Dress Code: Summer Formal We’re so excited to celebrate our special day with you! Our ceremony and reception will take place entirely outdoors, so we kindly ask you to dress in summer formal attire. Polished and elegant, while keeping comfort in mind for the warm weather. For the Gentlemen: Suits are the way to go! A lightweight suit or blazer with dress pants is perfect. No tuxedos necessary. For the Ladies: Formal dresses are encouraged, and summer styles are more than welcome. Flowy fabrics, midi or maxi lengths, and lighter colors are great options for the warm outdoor setting. A Friendly Reminder: As much as we love the look of white, please save that color for the bride and avoid wearing white or anything too close to it on the wedding day. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to see everyone looking amazing in their summer formal best!
We will be providing shuttle transportation to and from the wedding for all guests staying at The Desmond Hotel. Shuttles will depart promptly at 5:15 PM on the wedding day. Please meet in the main lobby a few minutes early to ensure a smooth and timely departure. Return shuttles will be available at the end of the night to bring everyone back to the hotel safely.
Please plan to arrive by 5:30 PM the ceremony will begin promptly at 6:00 PM. We kindly ask that everyone be on time so we can start the celebration smoothly. Don’t be late, you won’t want to miss a moment!
We kindly ask that you please keep phones and cameras away during our ceremony. We’ve hired a professional photographer to capture every special moment, and we want all of our guests to be fully present with us as we say “I do.” Thank you for your love, support, and understanding!
We’ve reserved a room block for our guests at The Desmond Hotel, which will be the central hub for our wedding weekend. Many of our events including welcome drinks, the after party, and the morning-after brunch, will take place there, so we highly encourage you to stay with us! Yes, there is parking located at the venue for guests who choose to drive themselves. There will be parking attendants to direct guests upon arrival.
