In West Chester, on a night when neither of them had planned to be at a house party, something special happened. With music playing and friends laughing, they found themselves drawn to one another. It was one of those moments that felt like fate. They hit it off immediately, and so began their lives together. As time went on, life threw them plenty of curveballs, from Shelby beginning her semester abroad in Kentucky and the long-distance relationship that ensued, to her balancing life and her rigorous new nursing dreams, to Kory, at various points, figuring out how to balance the copious hours of work, school, and relationships. Through all the struggles, they made sure to always make time for one another, and they celebrated every little victory together, making their bond even stronger. After a few years, they decided it was time to take the next step, and so they moved in together. The first year living together taught them more about patience and kindness than they could have ever imagined. They learned not only to accept one another's quirks and weird habits but to embrace them and know that those were what made each of them so unique and special. When they decided it was time to take another step, they brought home the cutest of puppies, Chester, for them to love and cherish. Again, many lessons of patience and kindness were, and continue to be learned. After years of navigating life’s twists and turns, Kory decided it was time to pop the question. He chose a lovely vineyard in her hometown, where they’d shared many laughs and memories. With the rain coming down outside and Chester making a mess of the cabana, he got down on one knee and spoke from the heart and asked her to be his wife. With tears of joy, Shelby said yes, sealing their commitment to each other. Now engaged, they’re ready for the next chapter. Their love is a blend of fun, support, and adventure, and they can’t wait to see what the future holds. As they plan their wedding and dream about their life together, they know that their story, which started at a party neither of them planned to attend, will continue to unfold, filled with laughter, love, and all the adventures yet to come.
