We're getting married!

Jake and Shelby met in the 5th grade at Fall Creek Intermediate School. Jake asked Shelby to be his girlfriend that year, but sadly, Shelby was not ready for a serious boyfriend. Thankfully, Jake was persistent and Shelby finally realized Jake was the perfect one for her their junior year of high school. Jake took Shelby out to Noodles & Co. on 12/21/2012 for their first date and asked her to be his girlfriend just 6 days later on 12/27/2012. And the rest is history...

After a long drive home from her pediatrics rotation in Florida, Shelby was expecting to be picked up shortly by Jake to go to bdubs for a few beers and to watch some football. Instead, she walked into her apartment decorated with hundreds of candles, rose petals, and balloons, "Green Eyes" playing over the speaker, and the love of her life down on one knee in the middle of her living room. The easiest "YES!" she ever did say! We're so excited to ring in the New Year and celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. Cheers!
