We love Fremont Lake! Whether visiting or residing in Pinedale, the cold water of Fremont Lake is a must. You can even find an informational board regarding the lake as you drive up to visit (it is located at the top of the hill on the lookout above the lake).

White Pine Ski Resort

You'd be surprised what you can do at a ski resort during the summer! The lodge at the White Pine Ski Resort burned down during the summer of 2019, but they still have many activities that accommodate for visitors like horseback riding, fishing, hiking and biking, and more.

Theres something for everyone here and is a great way to get some exercise and fun while visiting for our wedding! They have rock climbing, swimming, racquetball, tennis, basketball, and more and can accommodate for the younger and older generations.

Elkhart Park

There is more information on maps and trailhead locations at the forest service office in Pinedale. There are many beautiful hikes you can go on from the elkhart park trailhead, including a BEAUTIFUL short hike to Sacred Rim where you look straight off a cliff down onto Long Lake!

CCC Ponds

The CCC ponds have great biking/walking paths. Great for a short activity for visitors with a great view. Home to many species of wildlife!
