New Glarus Brewing Company
If you are from out of town, this Wisconsin Brewery is a must! Home to the famous "Spotted Cow" and some other of our favorite local brews, this self guided tour will walk you through a beautiful brewery and the history of a Wisconsin staple. The brewery is only open Monday-Friday, consider stopping by on your way into town for the wedding weekend.
Cadiz Springs State Recreation Area
Take a stroll through this beautiful state park area just minutes from the venue. This place is extra special to our hearts because Shelbey's Great Grandfather owned the land and sold it to the state of Wisconsin to create the recreation area!
Wisconsin State Capitol
If you find yourself in Madison on your way in or out of town, we would highly recommend you stop by the capitol and take a stroll through one of our favorite buildings. If you're in the area on Saturday morning, check out the Dane County Farmer's market for fresh cheese curds and our favorite - Stella's Bread!
Decatur Dairy
We cannot recommend the grilled cheese enough!
Monroe Square
Check out the historic Square in Monroe, Wisconsin. Lined with a number of delicious restaurants and cute shops, this is a great way to spend a few hours!
