Juli likes to joke that Shelbe "slid into his DMs," and honestly… he’s not wrong! Shelbe reached out because he was funny and had the best smile, and from there, their story began. Their first date was at a pizza place in Chicago—though, for a city known for its pizza, it wasn’t exactly great (and yes, Shelbe still teases Juli about it!). They spent two amazing years in Chicago before deciding to shake things up. In 2023, they packed up and moved to Charleston, South Carolina, with their pup, Stella. It didn’t take long for them to fall in love with the food, the beaches, and the incredible people they’ve met along the way. Then, in May 2024, Juli got down on one knee and asked Shelbe to marry him—and, of course, she said yes! Now, they can't wait for this next chapter together. ❤️
