She said Yes!

This love story begins in the spring of 2016. Sheila was a freshman at Central Washington University ready for a night of dancing with her friends. Giovanni a sophomore at Yakima Valley College found himself at the same event that night. He also looked forward to a night of dancing and making memories with his friends. As Gio arrives to the event his friends did what most single men do at a dance, stand by the wall and talk amongst themselves. Giovanni confused was not going to spend the whole night chilling by the wall, So he decided to go and look for a dance partner. "That's when I saw her from across the room. She was wearing a teal colored dress, hair curled, with such a radiant smile. She was dancing with her friends, but looked like she was looking to dance with someone". That is when he decided to go up to her and politely ask her if she would like to dance. Both Gio and Sheila danced a couple songs and felt a jolt of energy as they exchanged facts about each other. A beautiful friendship began to bloom.

Esta historia de amor comienza en la primavera de 2016. Sheila era una estudiante de primer año en la Universidad Central de Washington lista para una noche de baile con sus amigos. Giovanni un estudiante de segundo año en Yakima Valley College se encontró en el mismo evento esa noche. También esperaba una noche de baile y recuerdos con sus amigos. Cuando Gio llega al evento, sus amigos hicieron lo que la mayoría de los hombres solteros hacen en un baile, pararse junto a la pared y hablar entre ellos. Giovanni confundido no iba a pasar toda la noche relajándose junto a la pared, así que decidió ir a buscar una pareja de baile. "Fue entonces cuando la vi desde el otro lado de la habitación. Llevaba un vestido de color verde azulado, cabello rizado, con una sonrisa tan radiante. Estaba bailando con sus amigos, pero parecía que estaba buscando bailar con alguien". Fue entonces cuando decidió acercarse a ella y preguntarle cortésmente si le gustaría bailar. Tanto Gio como Sheila bailaron un par de canciones y sintieron una sacudida de energía mientras intercambiaban datos el uno sobre el otro. Una hermosa amistad comenzó a florecer.

Sheila and Giovanni currently live in beautiful central Washington in the city of Yakima. After college Sheila and Giovanni decided to take the next step in their relationship and move in together. The ongoing reality of Covid-19 brought the couple closer and made their bond stronger. Living together has brought fun, romance, comfort, and growth, as individuals and a couple. Their cat Nemo recently joined them in May 2022, he is wild with him and cuddly with her. They are devoted to working to improve their community through their community advocacy and social work. They are happy to have you all share this moment with them as they continue their long loving journey together. <3

Sheila y Giovanni viven en el hermoso centro de Washington, en la ciudad de Yakima. Después de la universidad, Sheila y Giovanni decidieron dar el siguiente paso en su relación y mudarse juntos. La realidad actual de Covid-19 acercó a la pareja y fortaleció su vínculo. Vivir juntos ha traído diversión, romance, comodidad y crecimiento, como individuos y como pareja. Su gato Nemo se unió a ellos recientemente en mayo de 2022, es salvaje con él y tierno con ella. Están dedicados a trabajar para mejorar su comunidad a través de su defensa comunitaria y trabajo social.
