Groom
Zachary was born in Dallas, TX in 1999 along with his twin brother, Aaron. Born to Susan and Jonathan Sheets. He grew up in Coppell, TX where he attended Coppell High School, participating in choir and the local recreational baseball league. Zachary also joined the Coppell Police Explorer program where he fell in love with police work. Zachary went on to earn an associates degree from North Lake College before transferring to Sam Houston State University for his bachelors degree. Zachary met Emily shortly after graduating from Sam in 2022, who had just begun attending Sam. The two began dating in 2023 and were engaged in 2025. Zachary now resides in Dallas, TX and serves as a police officer with the Coppell Police Department. He is an avid concert-goer and enjoyer of music. He enjoys collecting CDs, playing video games, reading, and going out with friends.
Emily Dunn
Bride
Emily was born in The Woodlands, TX in 2004. Born to Whitney and Brian Dunn. She has a younger brother, Josh, and an adopted younger brother, Samuel. Emily grew up in Magnolia, TX where she attended The Woodlands Christian Academy and Legacy Preparatory Christian Academy. Emily participated in youth theater and robotics. Emily has had a love for drawing and art since she was a young child, and she has continued that passion into adulthood. Emily began attending Sam Houston State University in 2022 where she met Zachary, who had just graduated from the university. Emily began studying engineering before switching her studies to art, with a desire to become a children's book illustrator. Emily now lives in Denton, TX where she is continuing her art education at Texas Woman's University. She is a lover of all things spontaneous, an avid animal enjoyer, and enjoys cooking, drawing, art projects, tinkering with electronics and housework (seriously, she finds it relaxing).
Aaron Sheets
Best Man
Twin brother of the groom. Please do not get him confused with the groom, that would make for awkward conversation. Aaron and Zachary both grew up in Coppell together side by side, participating in choir together through high school. Both brothers were in the Coppell Police Explorer program, igniting a mutual love for the work of law enforcement. Both Zachary and Aaron earned their associates degree from North Lake College (now Dallas College) and earned their bachelors degree from Sam Houston State University. Aaron now works as a police officer with the Dallas Police Department. Oh and yes ladies, He’s single.
Allison Inman
Maid of Honor
Allison is Emily’s cousin and Maid of Honor. The two are less than two months apart in age, which meant they were practically built to be best friends from the start. Even though Allison lives in Georgia and Emily grew up in Texas, every visit together was filled with excitement and anticipation. Some of Emily’s favorite memories with Allison come from spending time together at their Grammy and Poppaw’s house in Georgia. Whether they were talking for hours, bonding over shows, or sharing their love of art, the two always seemed to pick right back up where they left off no matter how much time had passed. Allison is an incredibly talented artist whose creativity seems to flow into everything she does. She is kind, funny, and endlessly imaginative. She has always been someone Emily can laugh with, confide in, and spend hours around without ever getting bored.
Christian Medina

Christian and Zachary both met while attending Coppell High School in 2017 at the start of their senior year in Forensics Science. Christian was also a former Coppell Police Explorer and the two hit it off. They have remained good friends ever since.
Kyra Huckaby

Kyra and Emily have been close friends for nearly their entire lives. The two met when Kyra was just two-and-a-half years old and Emily was three after their families became neighbors in 2007. Since then, their families have remained incredibly close, making Kyra a constant and cherished part of Emily’s life growing up.From Easter egg hunts and trick-or-treating to countless days spent together as kids, the two have shared a lifetime of memories that Emily will always treasure. No matter what they were doing, being together always meant there was going to be laughter and a good time involved. Kyra is a talented artist with a passion for journalism and creativity. She has a joyful personality that naturally brings fun and energy wherever she goes. Through every stage of life, she has remained a wonderful friend to Emily and someone who has helped make so many childhood memories unforgettable
Nolan Sanders

Zachary and Nolan met while working at Marco’s Pizza after high school. The two shared a love for good music and became instant friends. They swapped Xbox gamer tags and remained in touch ever since, never shying away from attending a Stars game, going to a concert, or just grabbing a beer together.

Diana has known Emily since they were around four years old after meeting through activities at Stone Bridge Church. Since then, she has been a joyful and steady presence in Emily’s life. Diana has an outgoing personality and brings warmth and energy wherever she goes. She has always been someone Emily can count on, whether they’re talking for hours in the car or simply spending time together. Over the years, the two have shared many memories, including mision trips during high school and countless conversations that strengthened their friendship. Diana’s kindness and ability to make people feel cared for are just a few of the reasons she is such a meaningful friend to Emily.
Zachary Simms

Zach (not to be confused with the groom, Zach) met Zach at a concert for the band Tesla in 2022. Not only were Zach #1, Zach #2, and his brother, Chandler, the youngest guys there, they were both wearing some heavy metal tees to bands they both loved. Zach and Zach hung out that night and exchanged numbers. Zach soon invited Zach to a music festival and they have been regularly hanging out ever since. Zach (groomsmen) is a very strong Christian and a fantastic friend. He inspires Zach to grow further in the faith every day. Zach is one of the smartest men that Zach knows. Zach is very excited and honored to have Zach as a groomsmen.
Amelia Ousley

Amelia and Emily have been friends since Kindergarten, instantly becoming close from the moment they met. One of their favorite memories growing up was attending Rocky River Ranch, a summer camp in Wimberley, together, where they spent seven summers making memories and having countless adventures. The two share a deep love for animals, something that has always connected their friendship. Amelia has a strong passion for rescuing and caring for animals, as well as helping the people around her. She is always finding herself in some kind of shenanigans, bringing fun and energy wherever she goes. Above all, Amelia’s strong faith in Jesus and caring heart make her such a meaningful friend in Emily’s life.
Mitchell Lakey

Mitchell is a very good friend of Zachary. The two were introduced by Zach Simms at the Monster Mosh 2022 music festival. Like Zachary Simms, he has become a staple friend ever since. Mitchell is probably the person to have gone to the most concerts with Zachary. He is a class act goofball, always cracking a joke to make everyone smile. At the same time, he is a very devoted Christian. Mitchell and Zachary have had many Faith talks at the Waffle House after tearing up a metal concert. Above all, he has a big heart and is one of the best friends a man can ask for. Mitchell also just got engaged himself! Say congratulations if you see him!
Kathryn McNight

Kathryn and Emily have known each other since the day they were born, sharing the exact same birthday and becoming close friends from the very beginning. Growing up, they could always count on seeing each other at church every Sunday from Mother's Day Out to singing together in their church youth mission choir. Some of Emily's favorite memories are spending many birthdays celebrating together. Kathryn has always been a kind and thoughtful friend with a love for books and board games. She also has a strong passion for education and teaching the next generation, something that reflects her caring and encouraging personality so well.

Devon became a police officer at the Coppell Police Department in 2023. He was assigned to night shift with Zachary where the two became friends. He’s always quick to crack a joke and is rarely seen not smiling. Devon has become one of Zachary’s best friends at the police department. He’s a great cop and an even better friend.
Maya Woods

Maya and Emily have been friends since they were babies. Although Maya has lived overseas multiple times throughout her life, the two have always remained close no matter the distance. Maya has a heart for children, special education, and youth ministry. She is a loving and compassionate person who is always willing to help others, both in her own community and around the world. Growing up, Maya’s house was the place where everyone gathered for sleepovers and time together, creating so many fun memories over the years. Maya also has an incredible voice that she uses to glorify the Lord, reflecting the strong faith and caring spirit that make her such a meaningful friend to Emily.
Bailey Grawunder

Bailey and Zachary met through the Coppell Police explorer program. Ever since then, Bailey has become one of Zachary’s closest friends. During college there were many weekend nights where the two would be gaming until 4 AM. He’s always down to hang out and Zachary now gets to work alongside Bailey, who also serves as a police officer with the Coppell Police Department. Bailey and Zachary were roommates for a couple years, in which time Bailey was actually the first person Zachary informed about dating Emily. Zachary was still very much in denial of that fact - Bailey talked some sense into him, which happens more often than he’d like to admit. So Bailey, thank you. You technically helped create this union by making Zachary realize that, yes, kissing Emily and taking her on dates DOES mean you’re dating!

Hallie and Clara are Emily’s younger cousins. Hallie, who is 14, has always been loving and kind. Clara, who is 12, is daring, compassionate, and full of personality. Whether they are dancing, laughing, or spending time with the rest of the cousins, the two always bring joy and energy wherever they go.

Jackson and Zachary met while they were students at Coppell High School. Jackson is a genuine friend who wants the best for those he cares about. Jackson and Zachary reunited after Zachary moved back to Coppell. While the two work busy schedules, when they do get a chance to sit down and talk it’s almost always some of the deepest and most meaningful conversations. Never one to shy away from some kind words, he was an easy pick as a groomsman.
Lydia, Nora and Eliana Lewis

Lydia, Nora and Eliana are Emily's little cousins. Emily enjoys spending time with them during family gatherings in Wimberley. She especially loves listening to their sweet giggles as they play along with the other cousins. Fun fact: Emily served as their parents' flower girl 14 years ago.
Josh Dunn

Josh is the oldest brother of Emily. While they did not meet until the last few years, Zachary has always enjoyed every second of time hanging out with Josh. He brings life to any situation and is fun to be around. Josh stepped up and assisted with photos for the proposal and he did an absolutely amazing job. Zachary is honored to call Josh as a brother in law. He looks forward to more adventures with Josh and Emily, now as a family.
Ford and Davis Dunn

Ford and Davis are Emily’s younger cousins and the ring bearers for the wedding. Ford is 6 years old and Davis is 4. Both boys are full of energy and always ready to run, play, and make plenty of noise wherever they go. Ford and Davis are very excited to be part of the wedding day and cannot wait to walk down the aisle as ring bearers.
