What is the dress attire?

Answer

For our wedding, we invite guests to dress in semi-formal, cocktail, or formal attire. While we want everyone to look polished and celebratory, we're not strict about specific colors or styles—simply choose your best outfit. We kindly ask that guests avoid casual items like T-shirts, shorts, and jeans. Additionally, women should not wear white dresses out of respect for the bride.

May I bring children?

Answer

We love children but unfortunately will not be able to accommodate them for the event. Only family of the bride and groom may bring children who will be expressly invited. If having to leave your child at home creates unnecessary hardship please contact the bride, groom, or Brian or Whitney Dunn.

Will alcohol be served?

Answer

Yes! When you RSVP, please indicate if you'll be enjoying alcoholic beverages so we can provide an accurate headcount to our bartending service. The groom will generously cover drinks for guests up to a specified limit, with full details available at the event. We want everyone to relax and celebrate, but we kindly ask that you drink responsibly. Our goal is to create a joyful, respectful atmosphere that honors our wedding day and our loved ones. Please be mindful of your alcohol consumption and consider arranging a designated driver to ensure everyone's safety. Local law enforcement will be present to help maintain a smooth and enjoyable evening for all.

Is any of the wedding or reception outdoors?

No! Considering the summer season, we've intentionally selected an indoor venue to ensure a comfortable experience for our guests. Our chosen location is stunning, offering a beautiful backdrop for both the ceremony and reception. While indoor, the venue provides ample opportunities for memorable photos.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly request that guests do not take photos during the actual ceremony. We have professional photographers to capture every moment so we can unplug and enjoy! Please feel free to take photos during the reception.

Where is the wedding?

Our wedding will take place at the beautiful Balmorhea Weddings & Events, located at 33400 Wright Rd in Magnolia, TX 77355. Nestled in Montgomery County near Houston and The Woodlands, our venue offers a picturesque setting for our special day. We recognize that the location may require some travel for our loved ones, and we want you to know that while we hope you can join us, we deeply appreciate your love and support, no matter the distance.
