For those of you who would like to make a trip out of your journey to celebrate with us here in the 'Burgh, here are some suggestions of places close to the venue that we love! If none of these tickle your fancy, feel free to ask us! There really is something for everyone here in Pittsburgh!
Point State Park

Located at the confluence of the Allegheny and Monongahela Rivers, this park was the location of one of the first French, and later British, forts in Western Pennsylvania. A popular spot in the summer, the park is also home to a museum detailing early Pittsburgh history. Point State Park can be accessed via a free T ride from the Heinz Field stop located just up the street from the hotel.

One of the iconic locations in Pittsburgh and located just across the Ohio River from the hotel, this funicular railcar was once a part of a large network of inclines and street cars. There are some shops located at the upper station and the views are some of the best in the city!

The Clemente Museum

Probably the coolest museum in all of Pittsburgh! Housing the largest collection of Roberto Clemente memorabilia in the US, tours are given and tickets must be purchased in advance. 100% worth the price of admission, especially for sports fans!

This museum houses the Heinz History Center and the Western Pennsylvania Sports Museum. Telling the story of Western PA and its impact on the history of our nation, this museum is located just outside of Pittsburgh's iconic Strip District.

This neighborhood is located a short distance from our venue and just outside of downtown Pittsburgh. A location known for pop-up vendors and eclectic shops, this is a must-stop for tourists passing through Pittsburgh!

Located just past downtown Pittsburgh's Golden Triangle, the Cultural District is home to some of our favorite restaurants. Standouts include Nicky's Thai, Barcelona Wine Bar, and Gaucho.

One of the best museums in Pittsburgh, this modern art museum houses multiple rotating displays. Located in the North Side's Mexican War Street neighborhood, a short distance from the hotel, this one is worth checking out.

Home of Major League Baseball's Pittsburgh Pirates. This ballpark offers spectacular views of the city skyline and an entertaining experience. Tickets for games can usually be had for under $25!
