Question

Your reception is in a casino, are children allowed?

Answer

If your children have been specifically invited, yes! There is a form that will need to be filled out, reach out to Shea or Wesley for that. They will need to enter the reception venue from the Hotel, as children are not allowed near the gaming floor. Details will follow if this applies to you.

Question

Is there any specific requirements to enter the venue at the casino?

Answer

YES! Please know that the casino requires a valid government issued ID to enter. Guests will not be granted access without one.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

If your invitation includes one, yes!

Question

What is the attire?

Answer

The attire is semi-formal!

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the ceremony?

Answer

There will not be, however, public transit and ride share services such as Uber and Lyft are readily available.

Question

Where do I park for the Ceremony?

Answer

Parking will be located in Duquesne University Locust Ave Garage. Validated parking tickets will be available in the Chapel. The address is 600 Forbes Ave, Pittsburgh PA. However, this entrance is closed. From Forbes Ave, you can either turn on McAnulty Dr and make the first left (Locust) or turn on Magee and make the first right (Locust). The garage entrance will be next to the roundabout. If you require a map to help you get from the garage to the Chapel, please reach out to Wesley or Shea. If you require handicap parking - that is available on the street next to the Chapel or in the "Old Main Lot" behind the Chapel.

Question

What about parking for the Reception?

Answer

Parking at River's Casino is free if you self-park. There is also valet parking available if you wish.
