Ricky had me over for Thanksgiving one year and I discovered how good his mom cooks and that you could get fourths and fifths and still have leftovers. All other mothers are compared to this gold standard of motherhood. Also, I was really upset Ricky was sitting out an intramural soccer game in college cause he felt sick. We were tied in stoppage time and he shut me up by subbing in, bending his corner kick into the goal, and subbing out to go to bed. I should not have been upset.

We had the same class schedule in the 7th grade and we didn't get sick of each other. Our version of a fun Friday night out in high school was finishing a 1,000 piece puzzle, wrestling on a trampoline, playing 21 or knockout til we were as good as Kobe, and building legos. My mom didn't care how late I stayed out as long as I was at Brett's house.

One time during a sermon I was preaching on faith and I put Chris on the spot and asked him to hit a 3/4 court shot in front of the entire youth group. That was one of the most clutch performances I've ever witnessed in my life and my faith in him as a baller has never been stronger.

While we were coworkers at a church, I shared my love of chiropractic care with Hunter and said I would be fine with a chiropractor adjusting my newborn child (i was very single). He's never let me live that down. LOL. If you created a venn diagram of interests for the two of us, it would just be a lot of venn. Coffee, Bon Iver, Chaufa de pollo, OP-1, Michael Heiser, Silent Dance Parties, John Mayer, Star Wars, Ministry, Avenged Sevenfold, Fifa, Disneyland, and the Toyota Prius.
