LET'S (FINALLY) DO THIS!

After an awkward encounter at a professional get together (read: college party) the previous November, Shea and Andrew officially met and became friends through their involvement with Millersville University's #1 music source, WIXQ, their college radio station. Andrew was Shea's radio trainer as she learned the ins and outs of being live on air, and they soon attempted to hang out together. After a few group hangouts, Shea thought he was nice but given the fact that they struggled to hold a conversation, this probably wasn't going to go anywhere. Andrew reportedly thought things were going really well. Thankfully, this early situation held no bearing on their future communication skills. After being rejected from his request to be her boyfriend after their first date, they eventually became official in March of 2010 and have been inseparable ever since.

We just felt our boys deserved a slot in this important timeline.

Yes, you read that right, it's been about 3 1/2 years of being engaged. Andrew attempted to plan a surprise proposal in New York City's Central Park, a place they had visited on their first trip together several years before. Although Shea had a major hint of what was up his sleeve, she didn't lead on that she knew, and after a lot of failed attempts at finding the 'perfect' spot, Andrew proposed along the water in the evening just before they headed back home with his grandmother Jane's engagement ring, which is very special to them both.
