Peyten and Shayna met as roommates during their Disney College Program in the Fall of 2017 and have been the best of friends ever since. Their friendship first blossomed though their mutual appreciation for sloths & Disney photoshoots. Shay and Pey moved back to Florida at the same time again after graduation in 2019 and spent the year together having puppy play dates, celebrating major holidays and of course, going to the Disney Parks.

Nicolas Gbur

Best Man

Nicholas and Zach met in Mrs. Wasmer’s kindergarten class and have been inseparable ever since. Through Cub Scouts, marching band, countless basement hangouts and bonfires, these boys have forged a friendship that will last a life time. When it came to choosing a best man there was no doubt Nick was going to rise to the occasion, so it should be no surprise that he stands by Zach’s side on the big day!

Sol Meyers

Sol is Shay's little sister and Zach's soon to be sister-in-law. Aside from being best friends, Sol and Shay have been practicing "playing" wedding since they could walk. You can expect to see Sol out on the dance floor with the best moves at the wedding. Fun Fact: Sol spent a year abroad in Uruguay and speaks fluent Spanish!

Harmony is Zach's younger sister and Shay's soon to be sister-in-law. She has all of Zach's best traits, including his excellent sense of humor and soccer skills (they were both captain of their respective soccer teams in high school). Harmony is excited to not only be gaining her first and only sister but also a dear friend.

Timothy Meyers

Tim is Zach's future brother-in-law aka Shay's little brother. Shay is the chatterbox of the two siblings, and for the first three years of life, never let Tim get a word in (but always advocating that Tim needed to stop for McDonald's french fries). Tim and Zach have bonded over snowmobiling trips and love of guitars, and the two are so excited to officially be "brothers".

Cameron Dillard

Cameron is Shay's future brother-in-law aka Zach's older brother. He is a great uncle to Magnolia and gives the best "scritches". Fun Fact: Cameron's birthday is on our wedding so be sure to wish him a very happy birthday!

Olivia Benton

Bridesmaid

Olivia and Shay met during high school and have been event "plotting" ever since. They meticulously planned prom, several "friendcations" and now a wedding! Shay and Zach have Olivia to thank for playing matchmaker and setting them up. Olivia is dating Nick Gbur, the best man/Zach's best friend, which means the best double dates for the rest of their lives.

Christopher Gene

Zach and Chris first met through work but have since become great friends. Chris was more than excited when Zach asked if he would take photos of the proposal. Chris is a talented photographer, has a great sense of style and is a pro at Mario Kart (easily way better than Shay and Zach combined).

Kirstin Williams

Kirstin and Shay first met in Florida during their Disney College Program. Kirstin and Shay bonded over outlet shopping, country music and their love for meeting Winnie the Pooh at Disney. Since Disney, Kirstin and Shay have traveled back and forth to visit each other, written letters and chatted over the phone - each time picking up exactly where they left off. They've also stood up in each other's weddings. Kirstin is now a teacher of tiny humans and the epitome of a sweet Georgia peach.

Anne Race

Shay and Anne met during elementary school at St. Joan and have done life in tandem ever since. From double birthday parties, first cell phones, high school cross country and even attending Michigan State University together, Anne and Shay remained dearest friends. Anne is now a teacher of tiny humans and is engaged to be married 2 months after Shay.

Kate Klennert

Junior Bridesmaid

Kate is Shay's cousin on her dad's side. They've grown up spending every summer at the family cottage in Lexington, Michigan. Some of their fondest memories are splashing around in the lake, hunting beach glass and wrangling the younger cousins together. They also share an affinity for the show, The Office, and can often be spotted inserting funny quotes from the show into daily conversation.

Magnolia Meyers

Zach and Shay added Magnolia to their family in 2018 and their life has been full of snuggles and tail wagging ever since. She tends to go everywhere with her paw-rents and loves to travel (she's even flown across the country- twice!). She is the sweetest little golden retriever puppy and is full of zest for life.
