Sleep Accomodations
Answer
Shaylyn gets discounts on some hotels from her job (yay!), and we want to make sure you all are getting the best bang for your buck during your stay. There are many Airbnb options that you can check out as well. There is a Linktree available in the Travel Tab, and it will navigate you to Airbnb and a list of hotels that you can look through. It will also let you know which hotel we plan on staying at (once we decide lol). If you want to stay in the same hotel as us, great, but it is certainly not mandatory. Whichever hotel you are interested in, email Shaylyn at shaylynmoney@gmail.com, or text either of us, to send the hotel you want and which dates out of the weekend you are looking to stay. Shaylyn will then assist you with the booking, and send you confirmation information! For Airbnb, this will be all self booking, as we do not get discounts for this.

Group Events
Answer
All group events and activities are optional! We would love to spend time with everyone while we are all on this trip together, so under the Schedule Tab, we have all the different group outings and activities that we will be doing that you are able to join if you are interested! Please be advised, because we are trying to keep costs down as much as possible, we are not able to fully cover the costs of all of the outings/group activities, except the reception. The reception will have a catered dinner, a tab open for limited covered drinks, and options to play certain games that we will cover costs for. The welcome dinner, the parking fee for the ceremony, and the Maid of the Mist outing will not be covered. If any are not in your trip budget, let us know. Any time with you will be well spent!

Registry/Gifts
Answer
We understand that you are all traveling a distance to come celebrate with us, so we are not expecting anything. If you are still interested in providing a gift, please feel free to donate to our Newly Wed fund! Donations can be through Cashapp, Venmo, Zelle, or whatever you may prefer. Again, any donations are highly appreciated, but are not expected whatsoever. Your presence is a gift in and of itself!

Extra Guests

Per our elopement package with Niagara Falls, we are only allowed a strict amount of people. As much as we would like to, we will not be able to accommodate any add-ons or extra guests that were not listed on the invitation envelope.

Is this an “unplugged” ceremony?
Answer
It is not an unplugged ceremony and we encourage you to take pictures (and send us the good ones!). However we also kindly encourage you to be mindful of the photographer if they have their camera directly on you and to not have your phone out the entire time so we they can get decent candids of the group!
