6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
No specific dress code for this one, but we will probably take some pictures so do with that information what you will :)
This is an optional welcome dinner for us to be able to see and greet everyone! We will have a private room, but this event will not be catered like the reception will be. Everyone will have the option to order what they want on the menu and will be covering their own meal and drink as they choose! We hope to see you there.
8:30 pm - 9:30 pm
Dress warm!! It will be night time and by the water.
The Falls have nightly light shows that run from dusk until about 2 am. We would love to celebrate the evening with you all before the big day, as well as show you around the park to make sure everyone knows where they are going in the morning! Please dress warm, as it might be chillier at this time by the water.
11:00 am - 11:30 am
Garden Party/Semi-Formal - Due to the time of year, it may be chilly, and if there is wind, the mist may come over to us from the Falls. Please dress nicely but comfortably for the weather. Shaylyn is requesting everyone wear solid colors and to avoid any patterns if possible (i.e. no mutil-colored flowers, stripes, polka dots, tie dye, etc.)
Please be mindful the ceremony is outside (unless it rains) and that there may be some walking on grass, as well a bit of mist from the Falls. There are a good bit of stairs (as well as a straight ramp) down to get down to our ceremony spot, which is on the middle landing overlooking the falls. We will have a Day of Coordinator, Sally, and our photographer, Stephanie, who will be guiding people to the ceremony spot. Semi-Formal/Garden dress is crucial so that they will be able to spot you all, since we are in a public space. We suggest traveling in groups to minimize costs for parking ($15 per car) and for the coordinator and photographer to be able to spot you. However, it should be pretty straightforward upon arrival to the Terrapin Point location.
11:30 am - 1:00 pm
We will be taking pictures immediately following the ceremony. We want to get photos with everyone in small and large groups, so please stick around for a bit for pictures! Also, feel free to enjoy the sights and the Falls while we are taking pictures together and with everyone separately. We have photography for 2 hours, so once all group photos are done, we recommend going back to change into your Maid of the Mist attire if you plan on attending. If not, please feel free to check out any other fun things to do in the area while you wait for our reception to start!
2:30 pm - 3:00 pm
This group event is something fun for us all, but very much optional!
We made this for 2:30 so people have time to do some sightseeing after photos and to change if needed. Tickets for this can be ordered in person when we get there at the ticket counter. Note that you WILL get wet on this attraction. How wet you get depends on where you stand on the boat, but you will get some type of wet nonetheless. There are ponchos provided but we recommend bringing a windbreaker or something water proof to wear since ponchos are short sleeved. We also recommend dressing warm under the windbreaker, and to wear shoes that you don't mind getting wet. We will be getting our tickets there and not preordering online, so we suggest everyone buy their tickets upon arrival so we all have the same departure time. We will be going off of the RSVP list for a head count so *please* RSVP here if you plan to attend. The boats come every 15 minutes and run rain or shine, so ticket availability should not be a problem upon arrival.
4:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Feel free to wear whatever you want to this. There will be time to go to your room and get changed. Bride and groom will still most likely be dressed up in some way but there is no dress code for this!
This will be a fun little *reception* gathering that we hope to see everyone at! The cake will be served here so we hope to be able to celebrate with you! This brewery has so many options for food and drinks, as well as super fun games such as bowling, cornhole, arcade games, and a golf simulator (all indoors)! We plan to have a catered meal with a menu that is TBD. We are in the process of trying to book bowling for only our guests to have access to for a limited time during the party. Feel free to check out the website for drink menus and game options. This event is optional of course, but we hope to see you there. Please make sure to RSVP so that we can make sure we have a headcount for the catered meal. Attaching the menu just in case you'd rather order something if the catered menu does not suit you. You can also view this through the Linktree. Please make sure you secure an Uber or other transportation if you plan on drinking a good bit! We want everyone to be safe. :) https://fallsbreweryusa.com/
