I RSVP'd but now I can't make it, what should I do?

If there are any unforeseen circumstances that prevent your attendance, we kindly request that you inform us by April 1, 2024. This will allow us to make necessary adjustments with the caterer, ensuring that we are not charged for your plate.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We have not created a wedding registry as we do not require any specific items. However, if you wish to contribute a gift, we are gratefully accepting monetary donations towards our honeymoon or house renovation fund. Your generosity will help us create cherished memories or enhance our home, and we sincerely appreciate your support. If it's more convient for you, you can e-transfer to shay.penner@gmail.com

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will commence promptly at 5:00 pm, so we recommend arriving around 4:30 pm to allow ample time to grab a beverage and locate your seat.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Regrettably, if you did not receive a plus one with your invitation, we kindly request that you attend the event without a date. Due to space constraints at our venue, we were unable to extend a plus one option to all guests. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We kindly request that this wedding is adult only with the exception of our nieces and nephews who will be attending the ceremony. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in honoring this request.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is plenty of parking available at the location of our ceremony and reception. Enjoy Center 101 Riel Drive St Albert, AB, T8N 3X4 Guests are invited to use the dedicated Glasshouse Kitchen|Bar entrance located past the terrace by Entrance #3. This will be the only entrance that will be open after 5 pm, so unless you fancy a late night stroll outside, it is best to park close to this entrance!

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will take place indoors, with access to a patio area during the cocktail hour and dance. It is worth mentioning that the venue is a greenhouse and does not have air conditioning.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

We regret to inform you that there will not be an open bar at the event. However, we kindly request that you bring cash if you wish to purchase drinks. We have chosen a corkage bar and pre-paid the gratuity in an effort to reduce costs for our guests. Drink tickets will be available for $5, and there will be an ATM conveniently located on-site.
