Aaron and Shaylee's story began just like so many modern-day love stories do—by swiping right on a dating app. After a few weeks of chatting and confirming they weren’t, in fact, serial killers, they decided to meet in person. From the very first date, it was clear—they were hooked. For the next three months, they made the 1 hour and 25-minute drive back and forth to see each other, not letting the distance get in the way of what was quickly becoming something special. Eventually, Aaron decided to make things a little easier (and, let's be honest, a lot more romantic) and moved just an hour closer… all "for work," of course! Once they were a little closer, they made the most of their time together, exploring every corner of the state and venturing off to places like California, Oregon, and Montana. Whether it was hiking through national parks or just getting lost on spontaneous adventures, they found that the best part of it all was being with each other. As time went on, they realized their connection wasn’t just about the adventures or the beautiful places they visited—it was about the way they made each other feel. Whether they were laughing at inside jokes or supporting each other through life's ups and downs, they became each other’s greatest team. One of the most memorable moments came when Aaron took Shaylee to a beautiful overlook on a mountain top in Alaska, but little did she know, he had something else in mind. With a nervous smile and a sparkle in his eyes, he asked Shaylee to spend the rest of her life with him. Of course, she said yes without hesitation. From that moment on, they knew that no matter where life took them, they would face it together—hand in hand, just like they always had. Now, after countless adventures, late-night talks, and shared dreams, they're excited to start this next chapter of their journey, as partners in every sense of the word.
