Wedding Party

Please take a look at all the lovely people in our wedding party and family members that make this day extra special.

Scooter

Dog of Honor

Scooter is the first child of Jace and Shaylah. He is a sassy, stubborn, and needy Pembroke Welsh corgi who needs all eyes on him. He can't wait to wiggle his butt down the aisle.

Grace Spanos

Maid of Honor

Grace was the first real friend I made in college and she's now one of the greatest people in my life. She is selfless, hardworking, and intelligent. She's the whole package really. I couldn't imagine life without her, and that's why I am honored she will be by my side on this special day -Shaylah

Breann Lehner

Bridesmaid

Breann is more than just a bridesmaid. She's my one and only lifelong friend that has been by my side since high school. No matter where life takes us I can always rely on Breann to be by my side. I have never met a more beautiful soul than Breann. Not only is she brilliant, but she's also caring, compassionate, and absolutely hilarious. I don't want to imagine a world without Breann in it. I would hate to imagine my wedding day without Breann there. -Shaylah

Ashley Holen

Bridesmaid

Ashley is more than my cousin. She's my friend. I remember when she was born and how happy I was not to be the only female cousin! I would spend the rest of my childhood trying to make her laugh, smile, and be the best big cousin I could. Now my little baby cousin has turned into a strong, mature, and stunning woman. I couldn't be more proud of her. I love watching her play basketball and smile every time she sends me a Snapchat. Words can not describe how much I love her. -Shaylah

Danielle Anderson

Bridesmaid

Danielle and I are very, very similar when it comes to one thing; our extremely odd sense of humor. We like to share memes and jokes back and forth that would either be confusing or even unsettling to people who don't know us. She has always looked out for me and every now and then will randomly send me something that makes my day. -Jace

Zach Fossen

Best Man

Zach was my suitemate my very first year of college, and to put it simply, he wouldn't leave me alone. I would be in my room, doing homework, studying, or playing games on my laptop, and he would just walk in, say what's up, sit on the couch, talk about random things, then fall asleep. This became such a common occurrence, I eventually decided to engage in conversation. Turns out we had a lot in common and enjoyed a lot of the same things. The only difference is I was an extreme introvert, he was an extreme extrovert. In the end, as he likes to put it, he "adopted me" as his friend, and from then he's been my best friend. -Jace

Austin Olson

Groomsman

Austin is my older brother and probably my best friend. Austin will do anything for the people he loves. He’ll buy you all the beers! Jace and I always have the best time when Austin’s around! Austin helped shape me into the person I am; from my sense of humor, my love for rock music, and my obsession with UND hockey. I can’t imagine life without this punk! My fondest memories are of all the Fighting Sioux hockey games we went to together, especially when they won the National Title in 2016 and the Hall of Fame game against the Gophers in Las Vegas. We couldn’t imagine any party without Austin, let alone one of the most important events of our lives. -Shaylah

Jared Anderson

Groomsman

Jared is my oldest brother and one of the biggest influences on me. I wasn't exactly the most social person growing up, but Jared would always force me to hang out with him and his friends. For a while, I thought it was to torture me, but eventually, I figured out it was so he could hang out with me outside of home too. Even now, he likes to invite me to hang out with him and his friends to spend time with me and have fun when we have a chance to be in the same place. I credit him for my sense of humor and a lot of my personality traits, as well as my taste in music and board games. -Jace

Treavor Lowther

Groomsman

Treavor was the first friend I made when I moved to Cloquet, MN at the beginning of third grade. There were times when we would drift a little bit away from each other throughout high school, but we never stopped being friends. Today, he is still one of my best friends, and while it's not easy to see him since he is a marine, we still get to talk a lot over Xbox chat and joke and talk about all sorts of things, and it feels like he really isn't that far away. -Jace

Grayson Brady

Groomsman

Grayson became one of my friends in sixth grade, and then one of my best friends once the summer hit. In fact, during middle school and high school, I probably spent more time at his house than my own. His parents would even jokingly call me son and tell me I needed to pay rent. We definitely don't see each other that much anymore, but we still talk and hang out over Xbox nearly every day. -Jace

Lisa Olson

Mother of the Bride

My mom is the wonderful human being that made this day happen. Not only did she use her time, money, and determination, but she supported me every step of the way. She continues to make me feel special, loved, and like the most beautiful person in the world. I don't deserve her. Please take a moment to thank her for this lovely day and make sure she feels just as special as I do

Paul Olson

Father of the Bride

My dad was excited about one thing and one thing only.....decorating the pontoon. Take a moment to compliment him on his work and admire his beloved pontoon. He'd love to tell you all about it.

Mark Anderson

Father of the Groom

The first thing my dad ever said to Shaylah was "You're not a Vegan, right?" When she awkwardly laughed and said no, he approved. While not exactly a man of many words (probably where I get it from), he was happy when I announced my proposal to Shaylah and is happy to have her as a part of the Anderson family.

Janet Anderson

Mother of the Groom

When I told my mom I proposed to Shaylah and she said yes, her immediate reaction to yell oh my god and start crying. Pretty reasonable in my opinion. She is unbelievably happy and can't wait to call Shaylah her daughter in law.

Avery Holen

Flower Girl

This beautiful, smart, and sweet little girl is going to steal the show. Avery is energetic, funny, and just an overall joy. -Shaylah
