What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Live music and guest seating will begin at 4:30 p.m. and we would appreciate if everyone would arrive and be seated no later than 4:45 p.m. Please allow extra time to get through the gates of the Amelia Island Plantation to access the venue. Although Shay is normally always late to the party, we're planning to start the ceremony at 5:00 p.m. sharp.

Can you help me not get lost on my way to the wedding venue?

Answer

I can certainly try! We are having our wedding within the Amelia Island Plantation community at Walker's Landing. If you have rented property within the neighborhood for your stay, please navigate yourself to 70 Marsh Creek Road, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034. For those guests staying outside of the Amelia Island Plantation, please note that it is a gated community and you should allow extra time to get through the security gate to gain access to the venue. Your name will be left at the Main Security Gate at 11 Beach Lagoon Road. Once you enter through the gate, take the first right onto Marsh Lagoon Road/Cooper Bridge. At the stop sign, turn left onto Marsh Creek Road. Walker's Landing is located at the end at 1 Walker's Landing - you will see the entrance sign.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and colorful cocktail dresses. We want you to be comfortable and ready to drop it low on the dance floor! Please, no birthday suits (for obvious reasons.)

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and guest,” then please do! If not, we would prefer if it was just you. If you happen to fall into this second category, just channel your inner Jason Derulo and proudly sing out, "I'm feelin' like a star, you can't stop my shine, I'm solo, I'm ridin' solo." You'll be a huge hit.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! Please plan to book a babysitter so nobody at the wedding has to worry about shouting out "EARMUFFS!" if the band sings a "no-no" word.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

We will be serving dinner via action stations and there will be options for vegetarians, vegans, and gluten-free guests clearly labeled at each station. Please let a member of the service staff or the catering team know if you have a question.
