Are you registered?

Answer

Your presence on our wedding day truly means the world to us and is the greatest gift we could ask for, especially with our date change and so many of you traveling to celebrate with us. For that reason, we are not registered. If you still feel moved to give, we would be grateful for a card with your well wishes and, if you choose, a contribution to our newlywed fund. For those who are not able to attend but would still like to contribute, please feel free to mail us a card at P.O. Box 11, Amherst, VA 24521. Thank you so much for your love and support!

What Time Should I Arrive?

The ceremony will begin at 3:45pm, please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the ceremony.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate our big day with you and would love to see our friends and family dressed up for the occasion! We suggest cocktail or semi-formal attire. Ladies are welcome to wear floor-length, tea-length, or midi dresses, as well as elegant jumpsuits or pantsuits. Gentlemen may wear collared dress shirts with dress pants, and are welcome to add a sport coat or blazer — and a tie if they wish. Kindly refrain from wearing shorts, jeans, or white attire.

Can I bring a Guest/Date?

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate the guests we've formally invited. If you've received a plus one, your guest's name will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Will any events be held outdoors?

Answer

Partially! The ceremony will take place indoors. The reception will include both indoor and outdoor spaces for guests to enjoy during social hour, followed by dinner indoors.

Can I take pitcures/videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony, meaning that once the ceremony begins we kindly ask that all phones & cameras be put away and silenced. We want everyone to be fully present with us and for our photographer to be able to capture the best moments, which we will share with you. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you like!

Is there parking available?

Answer

Yes — Should you choose to drive, parking is available at both the church and reception venue. Please note that vehicles may not be left overnight at either the church or reception parking lots.

Will there be transportation?

Answer

We will be providing a shuttle service that will take guests without vehicles to and from the Church to the Reception Venue. If you are driving, please note that Delegal Creek Marina is located within The Landings private community. To access the marina, you must drive through the Main Security Gate. Please let security know that you are with the Turner Wedding and provide your first and last name.

Given the intimate size of our wedding, we will not be reserving a hotel block. Please choose anywhere in the Savannah area to stay!
