Getting There - Your Flights

• Via Kuala Lumpur (recommended) • Fly in from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur (KUL), then connect onward on a domestic flight to Kota Bharu (KBR) on the same day. To make our scheduled airport transfers, please book flights that arrive in Kota Bharu by approximately 10am or 12pm as there will be two scheduled shuttle buses for guests. It does make for a longer travel day, but it allows you to reach the island by late afternoon without making additional stops. • Via Kuala Lumpur (alternative) • Fly in from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur the night before, then take the connecting flight to Kota Bharu to join one of the airport transfer shuttles the next morning. Doing so does require an additional night's accommodation at your own expense. • Direct to Kota Bharu • Limited night flights operate directly from Singapore to Kota Bharu. If choosing this option, you will need to arrive the night before and stay overnight in Kota Bharu, then join one of the airport transfer shuttles the next morning. This would break up the journey, though accommodation that night would be on your own.

Travel Note

Ferry to Perhentian Island

Once guests have arrived at Kuala Besut Jetty, Alunan Resort staff will receive all guests and arrange for the ferry to bring everyone to the resort directly. The ferry ride is approximately 40mins, and the ride quality may vary depending on the weather. Let the resort staff know in advance if you're prone to seasickness.
