Any hotels or house rentals in downtown Cincinnati should be within walking distance or a streetcar ride of the wedding events. For your search, downtown Cincinnati neighborhoods include Downtown, The Banks, Over-the-Rhine, and Pendleton. Keep in mind that just south of downtown is the Ohio River and so hotels or rentals in Northern Kentucky would probably require a car or bus and just north of Over-the-Rhine is a steep hill to the Uptown neighborhoods so accommodations there would also not be quite as convenient.
Flight
Cincinnati's main airport is located across the Ohio River in Kentucky, but it's just about 12 miles from downtown where the wedding will be. The airport is serviced by several airlines including Delta, American, United, Air Canada, Southwest, Frontier, and Allegiant. Affordable public transit (TANK bus) is available to downtown Cincinnati, a taxi or ride share will cost $20-35 each way, and all major car rental companies are available.
Train
Service is limited, but you can take Amtrak from Chicago and New York to Cincinnati Union Terminal.
