It all started in early 2021, when Shawn & Brenda decided to defer their start dates for PT school due to covid… & Brenda “slid into Shawn’s DMs” to find a friend and hopefully a new study partner. 😂

The study sessions quickly turned into Shawn asking Brenda out for Sushi. 🍣 He wanted to “show her real sushi”. Brenda had shared with him that she only ate “cooked” sushi. Shawn was appalled 😂🙄

S&B 5/22/21 The sushi date was a success! But they learned they were both very bad with directions as they spent around 45 minutes finding the car after 😅. A few months later, Shawn asked Brenda out!

As the months passed and grad school got harder for them, they loved their adventures during their breaks! One of the most memorable was Arizona, where Shawn introduced Brenda to his family ❤️🏜️

Then, Brenda introduced Shawn to her family…. And he was nicknamed Swan 🦢 as the “shaw” part of his name was a challenge to pronounce in spanish! 😂😂

May 22, 2022: Shawn surprised Brenda with a very special first anniversary date as BF & GF… he knew he would top this for the proposal!!

More life events in 2022! Shawn & Brenda received their white coats! Which marked the beginning of clinical rotations. They were preparing to spend a year away from each other! 🥲

They still managed to see each other during most of their breaks and continued their adventures together! ❤️🥰

DPT 23’!! Finally graduation year! Shawn got his first job offer in South FL and asked Brenda to move in with him! They lived there for 1 1/2 years and continued their adventures!

Germany 🇩🇪 Brenda got to meet Shawn’s German side with an awesome trip to Germany! During the Euros too! So they had a blast! 💥⚽️😎

Colombia 🇨🇴 Then, for Christmas Shawn got to see some of Colombia and meet Brenda’s family there too! What a great family trip this was!! ❤️

Shawn got to bring Brenda to his Bradenton side of the family’s reunion!! In style 😎😎

A MAJOR CHANGE! 2025 While on another adventure… Shawn got a job offer in California! When he said it was his “dream job” Brenda knew the decision was tough.. but she had to be there for Shawn🫶🏼

SEPTEMBER 25’ While looking at prospective apartments for this new adventure, Shawn proposed to Brenda! Totally catching her off guard as she thought they were going to meet his “west coast” family!

The adventures continued as they drove across the country to their new home in Los Angeles! And now, they hope YOU can join them in Medellin, Colombia celebrating their forever! ❤️❤️💒
