Will either of you be changing your name?

Answer

Anna has decided to add the first of Shawn's two last names to hers rather than changing it entirely. So Shawn and Anna will refer to themselves as "The Nematis," and Anna's full name will be Anna Mandina Nemati.

What does cocktail attire mean?

Answer

Think of it as an elevated, dressy version of business casual! We want you to come as your authentic self and be comfortable during our wedding day festivities, but maybe just dress up a bit. Wear whatever makes you feel like a superstar!

Are kids allowed at your ceremony and reception?

Answer

While we do love kiddos and would love to see your beautiful bébés (said in the voice of Moira from Schitt's Creek), we request that you only bring along kiddos if they are over the age of five. Please reach out to us if this is going to be an issue!

Who is the live band you will be having play for part of your reception?

Answer

The Fritz Hutchison Band!!! They are an incredible local band (featuring THE Aryana Nemati on baritone saxophone) that Shawn and I are obsessed with! We are so excited to have them play for part of our reception and can't wait for you all to hear them! Look them up wherever you listen to your music. Some of our favorites of theirs are "Schnatterling Dream", "Ladder Shake", and "Wide Wild Acres" just to name a few. Of course they will be covering some of our other favorite songs, so if you have one you'd love to hear them play, send it along with your RSVP!
