Matron of Honor
Friend of the Bride. I met Kim in 8th grade when we were both new kids in school. She had just moved from Germany, and I had just moved from Texas, and we had Mr. Sokoloski's Social Studies class 1st period. We've been friends ever since. I sometimes describe her as the brunette version of me.
Maid of Honor
Friend of the Bride. I met Lauren through my mom, who was a teacher at Genefield Elementary School. Lauren also taught there (she's now a teacher at the Virtual Academy). I volunteered in my mom's classroom. We bonded over crazy Halloween outfits, dating horror stories and Jake's buffalo chicken wraps.
Bridesmaid
Friend of the Bride. I met Jennifer in 8th grade also when I moved to Oklahoma. We were on the 8th grade volleyball team together, and I teepee'd my first house at her birthday sleepover! We have traveled the world together, from Six Flags in Texas to a girls' trip in Las Vegas to her wedding in St. Croix!
Bridesmaid
Friend of the Bride. I met Karla when, you guessed it, I was a new kid as a sophomore at Central High School. I was about to eat lunch by myself when Karla invited me to eat lunch with her and her friends. We have been close friends ever since. Together, as new drivers, we learned a hard lesson about what happens when you accidentally leave your car lights on (your battery dies, if you didn't know!).
Bridesmaid
Cousin of the Bride. We met when...well, she was born. Ha ha! We had dance parties in grandma's living room and great adventures (does pushing her down grandma's stairs in a toboggan count?)! We've traveled the world together, from Italy to England to France and beyond! She's like my little sister!
