Rehearsal (Sans Dinner)

Dress comfortably, save your "fancy attire" for the wedding!
Once again, we're not great at this whole "traditional" thing. To help cut some costs, our "Rehearsal Dinner" will be more of a "Rehearsal, then invite to dinner." For wedding party and family members, we'll have Belvoir for a rehearsal from 6:30- 7:30. We'll rehearse the ceremony and make sure everyone is on the same page for scheduling/wedding duties. Afterwards, you're welcome to join us for dinner and some drinks! We will not be covering the bill for everyone, so you will be responsible for your ticket. We also figured that this would allow you to get home and rest before the next day if needed, so you're not stuck with us until God-knows-how-late. However, if you want to join us for dinner on our last night as a bachelor/bachelorette, you're more than welcome to! Just let us know so we have an accurate reservation count wherever we choose to go!
Rehearsal Dinner - The Landing Eatery and Pub

Fully optional, but if you want to, meet with us for dinner and drinks after the rehearsal!
I have us booked at The Landing Eatery and Pub, 1189 W Kansas Street, Liberty MO at 8 PM! When you arrive, say you're with the Nelson party and they'll get you checked in. We're reserved at the non-smoking outdoor patio, but there will be a table inside in case of bad weather or for us to mingle. Reminder; this will not be covered by us! We're trying to cut costs where we can, so you will be responsible for your ticket. **I was warned that it will be a busy night, they're having live music and there's a festival/celebratory event going on that day. So please be sure to tip well, to thank them for working with us! Many places were booked (even 3 weeks in advance) so we really appreciate them taking care of us. Not only that, but for making sure we had access to a patio!

Shawn and Amanda's Wedding

Our wedding colors are Jewel Tones, but wear whatever makes you feel comfortable and confident! (Go ahead, break out that outfit you rarely get to wear. Just make sure you can dance in it!)
After the ceremony, guests will be encouraged to head inside the Winery for appetizers and a cocktail/mocktail hour while we have our wedding photos taken. This will be a Cash Bar, so please plan accordingly! Dinner will be provided by Cosentinos Catering, and we will have options for *every* dietary need. (You know us, haha. Food is a love language, so we're happy to accommodate.) Everything will be clearly labeled for easy identification. Please let us know if you have allergies outside of gluten, dairy, or tree nuts. After dinner, we'll do a few traditional wedding staples, including cake made by Kathy Underwood, speeches (everyone's favorite part, haha), a champagne toast, and a not-so-traditional garter toss. Then we'll get to dancing! Of course there will be blacklights! (Shawn is so excited about that!) We can't wait to see you and celebrate!!

Brunch

For everyone joining from out of town, we'd like to treat you to a brunch before you depart. This is our way of saying "Thank you for taking time to travel and join us, it means so much!"
Once we have a more accurate headcount on who will be staying overnight, we'll find a brunch spot in Liberty and set up a reservation. If you have dietary needs, please let Amanda or Shawn know so we can take that into account when deciding on a place to meet.
