Question

What are the best parking and transportation options for the venue?

Answer

There’s plenty of free parking available right at the venue for all guests, so you're all set if you're driving. That said, we do recommend grabbing an Uber, taxi, or carpooling if you’d like to fully relax and enjoy the night (think: extra wine, dance floor domination, and no stress about the drive home). Your safety means everything to us, so travel however works best for you, our top priority is just that everyone enjoys the night and gets home safely!

Do you offer transportation from the airport?

Answer

Yes! If you’re flying in and need a ride from the airport, we’d be happy to help arrange transportation. Just send us your flight details in advance so we can coordinate and make sure someone’s there to greet you.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We love you and wish we could celebrate with everyone you love too, but due to space and planning, we’re only able to accommodate the guests specifically listed on your invitation. We truly appreciate your understanding and we can’t wait to share this spacial day with you.

Answer

We love your little ones, but due to limited space and to ensure everyone’s comfort, our wedding celebration will be for adults only. We're grateful for your understanding and are so looking forward to a beautiful day with you all.

What if I have food allergies or dietary restrictions?

Answer

Your well-being means a lot to us, and we want everyone to feel cared for on our special day. When you RSVP, please let us know about any allergies or dietary needs you have. We’ll do everything we can to accommodate you, just be sure to provide any details with us in advance. Thank you for sharing with us so we can make the day memorable for everyone!

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outdoors. Cocktail hour will be a mix of indoor and outdoor spaces, and the dinner and reception will be held indoors. Mid-October weather in Halifax is usually around 13°C during the day and can drop to about 5°C in the evening. We want everyone to feel comfortable and enjoy themselves, so you may want to bring a jacket, shawl, or something warm just in case it gets chilly during the outdoor portions. Just enough crisp air to keep your champagne chilled.

Can I take photos or post on social media during the ceremony?

Answer

We are so grateful to have you with us on such a meaningful day. Our hope is that everyone can simply be present in the moment, together. With that in mind, we kindly ask that phones and cameras be tucked away during the ceremony. We’ve brought in a talented photographer to capture all of the special moments, and we promise to share those memories with you afterward! During the cocktail hour and reception, feel free to take and share as many photos as you’d like! We can’t wait to see the day through your eyes — just remember to tag us so we can relive the memories together.
