Mary Jo and Skyler met during their time at Des Moines University and became immediate friends. Mary Jo has been around for several of Skyler’s life changes like moving to Iowa, turning 30, and was the first to know about Shawn.

Amy and Skyler won Inseparable Duo during a mock election for a club at Ferris State University after living together for 2 years. Although both of their schedules are busy, they managed to get a picture with the award in May 2025.

Trina was Skyler’s first friend in Iowa, meeting at Des Moines University. Trina and Skyler became fast friends, gaining the nickname “Tribe and Chopp.” Trina has been a consistent concert buddy and support system throughout their friendship.
