Buying 5 raw acres of land and building a house on it has been more scary + expensive than we could have ever imagined. We have worked so hard and made a lot of sacrifices over the years to be able to pull this off. We're nearing completion of the house but have also learned that with this lifestyle, the projects never end.
We are worn the heck down from this latest building project and are daydreaming of a fun getaway in 2027 to celebrate this year's milestones. We've poured our savings into the property and won't say no to a little help toward the honeymoon.
