We are excited that you will be joining us to celebrate our marriage but we know it comes during a strange season where people have varied comfort levels and opinions. Since weddings are about bringing people together, we look forward to setting aside anything that may divide us and celebrate with the people we care about while giving you the flexibility to take necessary precautions. We will be outdoors the entire ceremony and reception. For the ceremony, we will take care to leave extra room but ushers can help you move chairs if you would like to add some additional distance from others. We will also have some disposable masks if you would like to use them. All of our wait staff for the evening will be wearing masks and taking extra precaution with food preparation and service. Dinner will be seated and we will do our best to seat you with family or those with whom you normally interact.
Google Maps and Apple Maps give great directions! We have found that Waze will take you to the back entrance of the farm so we recommend Google Maps or Apple Maps. When you turn onto Matlock Road from Williams Ferry, take an almost immediate right up the driveway lined with trees and follow it all the way back. You will see our parking attendants.
Yes! The ceremony will be completely outdoors and the reception will be under a tent.
Yes and no. They exist but may take a little while to arrive if you are calling one from the Matlock home. There is also a football game this day so they may be even harder to come by. We recommend driving, carpooling, or arranging a car service.
The Knoxville airport is most convent. Since it's a small airport, flight costs can be expensive if you book late. We recommend booking sooner rather than later.
There will be a place to self park as well as valet for those that need or chose.
You are welcome to wear your fancy shoes, but we will primarily be on grass so walking in high heels may be tough.
We are getting married rain or shine! We will make adjustments accordingly.
First of all, thank you! You're welcome to send gifts to the address on our registry or bring them to the wedding.
