One day, Shaun Bare walked into a local Billings music venue to inquire about a job while she was in nursing school. As fate would have it, this was the first time Kerry Sherman got a glimpse of his future wife. Sometime later while on the good ol' Instagram, Shaun saw this curly-haired man who happened to work at that music venue - so she added him in hopes of possibly landing a job (so she says). Little did she know that she'd land the man of her dreams - being a Pisces, she has high standards when it comes to dreams. About a week later, she received a private message from this man asking if she had applied at the music venue. Success! However, she got caught off guard when rather than ask for an interview, this kind man asked her to dinner. Pleasantly surprised, she accepted the offer. What proceeded was the perfect date. Martinis, a concert, homemade Mac 'n Cheese, and Star Wars (and according to Kerry, Shaun "cutely" snoring through A New Hope). There was an instant connection and familiarity with each other. However, due to circumstances in life that required some personal reflection and focus, the two decided the timing was not ideal. This story isn't linear, but that's what makes it beautiful. The two always kept in touch, and saw each other through mutual friends on occasion. The spark always remained. One day Shaun - recently graduated from nursing school, was studying for her NCLEX at a coffee shop when a familiar curly-headed man walked through the door with a smile that let her know - this is it. From then on, it was quite simple. The progression of being together was easy. Love was right on time. For our friends and family who have supported and loved us through each beautiful step of our journey - we are so thrilled to celebrate our big day with you.
