Meredith enters the bridal party from Ana’s time spent in Los Angeles. Their yaps grew from side conversations at group coffee sips to 1:1 nights at the neighborhood wine bar (shoutout El Chucho!), bonding over clothes struggles and making jokes long after anyone else found them funny. Through a mutual love of surf days, good food, and music, Meredith spent loads of time with both Ana and Shaun before they made their move up to Seattle.

Melanie is an avid reader, proud dog mom to her 7-year old son Floyd, and a dedicated sarcasm enthusiast. Melanie and Ana met in grad school at USC, where they discovered a shared sense of humor and a high tolerance for stress. She’s beyond lucky to call Ana one of her closest friends, and credits her with at least half of her Ph.D. Melanie had a front-row seat to Ana and Shaun’s Malibu elopement and is thrilled for round two—Malaysia edition.

Mariah met Ana day one of freshman year at the University of Washington (go dawgs!!). She asked Ana if she wanted to get Subway for lunch after class, where they learned that they had the same sandwich order, and the rest was history! From late night study sessions to trying to figure out how to order food by walking through the drive-thru window, Mariah and Ana's friendship has grown from being little Freshman babies ready to take on the world to corporate girlies going to bed at 9 PM. Mariah couldn’t be more excited to celebrate Ana and Shaun this weekend!

Franco first met Shaun at Dalat high school in Penang. It's hard to pick an exact moment to define Franco and Shaun's friendship. But in rewinding through all of their memories and the time they spent together, Franco can say one thing for sure - him and Shaun have always been very different in many ways. Shaun was this buff and scary guy with giant biceps, and Franco was that studious guy with all the APs... yet they always managed to stay close and continued to grow closer and closer through countless cliques. No doubt, Shaun was Franco's best friend and also the friend he was the proudest of from his time at Dalat. But when Franco's brother asked him who he considered to be his best friend today, Franco thought back to keeping in touch with Shaun through all these years, from long distance spilling of cross border gossip, to spending an Easter together just very recently doing nothing but hanging out with both Shaun and Ana, and he confidently named Shaun. And brother, that’s GOLD. That’s a personal achievement Franco is very proud of today, and exactly what he imagined it to be back in school. Franco looks forward to celebrating Shaun and Ana on their special day, and he hopes they can finally accomplish their 100 laps swim, which has proudly been on their to-do list since 2012.

Daria met Ana around 4 years ago while looking for a place to live in preparation for the beginning of her PhD at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles (where Ana was also getting her doctorate at the time). Ana and Daria lived together for a year and a half and during that time their friendship flourished into something really special. Through Ana, Daria met Shaun, who she adores almost as much as she does Ana. Ana and Shaun have since become some of her greatest friends.

Sunny and Shaun met in LA when Shaun would visit Ana, and they grew even closer when Shaun finally made the move to LA. Their friendship continues to stay strong, whether through late nights playing Super Smash Bros and sipping on whiskey, or trying to get their money’s worth at an all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ spot.

Sharvari is a Clinical Trial Manager currently living in Chicago with her husband and two silly cats. She met Ana in sunny Los Angeles when Ana moved in down the street, and Shaun shortly after on the beach of San Onofre. From home-cooked dinners and long debriefs over coffee and desserts to surf sunsets and dancing the night away, they’ve done it all! She particularly shares Ana’s love of reading and arts & crafts, and neither of them can turn down a good sweet treat. She’s been an early shareholder of the SP stock and is so happy for this incredible couple. If you’re looking for Shar, keep your ears open for the loudest laugh in the room. If she tries to bring you to the dance floor, do not attempt to resist - she’ll always find a way.

Samir had the privilege of meeting the Silverstein-Png's shortly before they moved in together in Los Angeles. Samir and Ana were both the same year in different PhD programs and really got to bond over being nerds with a shared interest in Shaun. Samir has gotten to create so many amazing memories with the couple, from sunset surf sessions, weekly coffee tastings, and occasionally pushing past bedtime to stay out and dance. Professionally he's a clinical data scientist working to improve youth mental health with a PhD studying how wearable devices can help us understand depression.

I met Dad when I was 5 months old. He tells me he saw a photo of me with a rose in my mouth, and I've been stuck to his side ever since! I never thought I'd meet someone who would spoil me more than dad, but then mom came along. From the minute mom walked through the door, I knew she was the one for me.. I mean, dad. Since knowing mom, I've learned how to swim, sing, and protect the household from intruders (or as dad calls them, the mailmen). I'm sad I won't be joining them on their special day, but I know I will be in their hearts the whole way.

I scammed mom into taking me home because of my adorable smile and cuddly teddy-bear energy. A real cinderella story, I came from the mean streets of LA and now live in the suburbs of Seattle. I take up the entire bed at night, get endless belly rubs, and make sure to keep my brother in check! Much like mom, Dad won my heart through my belly. My pallet is now so refined, I've gladly left the trash life behind. I am so sad I can't join my pawrents on their special day, but you may hear my bark even from an ocean away!
