Best Man
Man , it all started in 2006 in September , it was induction day for the year 7s , I remember walking up to school and waiting in line by the school with the other year 7s , when I saw one tall boy thinking oh they got the older kids here today too , later on we go to our form room and I see him there again , like damn this kids really in my year and since then pretty much we have been around each other and our bond grew over the years with playing Xbox and having other things in common. Pretty much now I can say even though we don’t say say it he is one of my best friends.
Maid of Honor
Heyyy! I’m Raenée and I am Shauna’s Maid of Honour. I am the mutual friend who actually introduced the couple to each other and made myself the third wheel 🤣. Shaun and Shauna were both my close friends when they met and we would hang out together as a trio. I would call them my ‘Shaunitas’. I actually remember the day Shaun told me he was interested in Shauna and I was so happy. I met Shauna back in 2011 and then coincidentally we were put not only in the same university halls but our bedrooms were directly opposite each others. Shauna has been like a sister to me ever since and we have so many great memories together. I won’t go into the details but one of my favourite memories together is our trip to Ayia Napa when we stayed in the villa 😅
Best Man
So I met Shaun in secondary school. We eventually started sharing classes and initially bonded over the strange disappearance of our DT projects — suspiciously, the only two to go missing… also, suspiciously, the only two Black kids in the class. Coincidence? We thinks not. We became good friends as the years went by — through secondary school, sixth form (where we and our head of sixth form both completely mutually agreed to go our separate ways), college, and even ending up at the same uni. Shaun has genuinely been a constant in my life — a brother, a bad influence, a good influence, and a bad influence again. From the Friday night link-ups at mine to all the chaos in between, he’s given me 100 stories to tell — and the pictures to back them up.

I’m Nathan, brother of the groom Shaun! I don’t even know what to put here to be honest but let me tell you a recent memory that I have that I find funny. We all went to see alkaline in April but Shaun and Shauna had different tickets so I didn’t see them until after but trust me everyone did drunk!! When I left Wembley to go home I saw Shauna drunk as a dog and Shaun even more drunk outside by the jerk pans and Shaun was in a string vest 😂😂😂😂 it was like 10 degrees! (PS. I might have been drunk too but it ain’t about me)

Hi I’m kiara I’m Shauna’s cousin we are two years apart! Shauna is like a best friend/ sister to me. We have had our ups and downs during our childhood but would change her for the world. Shauna was almost my birthing partner, she dropped everything when I told her I’m having my son lool. We lived together at uni for a year then she helped me get a job at her job and I got hired on the spot! I absolutely love my big cousin, I am so happy she found Shaun (who is my son’s god father) welcome to the family Shaun loool

Hey! I’m Antonette, one of the bridesmaids. I’ve known Shauna since we were 11 years old, and from day one, she’s been one of the funniest and kindest people I know. We’ve grown up together, and at this point, she’s more like a sister than just a friend. So, being a part of her big day feels extra special.

I met Shauna back in the 90s, we went to school together all the way through to secondary. One of my favourite memories is us playing The Sims for hours on end. Pure dedication to build entire lives from scratch and then the chaos to tear them down just for fun. Looking back, I’m not sure what that says about us - but we had a great time doing it 🤣

I am Agne, Shauna's Bridesmaid & the Designated Lash Fairy for Shauna's Wedding! We met at Herts during cheerleading practice and became bestfriends, along the lines we realised that Kiara (her cousin) was also my other bestfriends cousin 🤣. Funniest memory - Shauna serenading me on my last night in Cyprus whilst she was studying abroad and Shauna dying of an imported Lithuanian 60% beverage on a night out. Favourite memory - everytime I cooked Shauna would come over with containers and a bag for her care package at Uni 🤣

I’m Paris, a cousin of Shauna’s (her favourite!) and I cannot believe she’s getting married! She’s always been a supportive and loving cousin who has led the way for us all (her younger cousins) and i wish her the very best on this next stage of life and with her family.

I’m Gladwin, and I met Shaun back in uni. Since then, we’ve shared many memorable experiences together, from drunken uni raves to scuba diving in Thailand. Throughout that time, he’s always been the life of the party and never fails to make sure everyone is having a great time!

I’m the sister of the bride, and honestly, I’m not entirely sure what I’m supposed to say here… but let me start with this: growing up with shauna was pure survival of the fittest. While other kids had loving big sisters, I had my drinks spiked with Dettol — yes, the cleaning product. Despite this murder attempt from my sister, I made it out alive, and now I get to watch her marry someone brave enough to take her on full-time. Shaun, all I have to say is good luck and don’t get on her bad side. Welcome to the family and I wish you both a long and happy marriage… and may your drinks remain disinfectant-free!

I’m King, I’m 5ft 8 and a half - round that up to 10 when I have trainers on, add another 2 inches with Air Forces and I’m one of Shaun’s Groomsmen. Me and Shaun became good friends at uni, we first met in our course, we had the non verbal black head nod of approval across the lab, so we ganged up together and we we’ve been friends ever since. Good memories: There’s a few, some might come out after a session of Wray. One of my favourite memories … ✌🏾allegedly nearly burning our uni house down✌🏾because of late night chips (I had it all under control).

I’m Shemarlle, Where do I even begin? Shaun and I met back in uni, though honestly, the exact moment escapes me. What I do remember, with absolute clarity, is that from that point on, our lives became a whirlwind of the most unforgettable adventures. From the maddest nights out to the highest sessions, we've shared countless emotional moments and created stories that will be retold for years to come. I truly believe Shaun might be one of the few people in the world who can actually keep up with me drinking a whole bottle of Wray – and sometimes even more! But beyond the wild times, what truly defines Shaun is his unwavering presence for everyone he meets. He's always been the heart and soul of our gang, the best part of every gathering. There's no doubt in my mind that I will always look out for him, and he knows I will, without question, that I'll be there to protect him from any battles life tries to throw our way. It’s a good thing we met, Shaun. Without you, so many of our shared stories would have simply never been written. Here's to you, my bro, and to many more chapters yet to unfold!

I met Shaun back when we both were working at B&Q and we have been boys ever since, teaching me the Wray.
