Shauna and Patrick have a story that began over thirty years ago. They met as teenagers. You might recognize the slogan, "We have the meats." Yes, they met while working first jobs at the local Arby's. Shauna worked the drive thru window and Patrick was her runner. Maybe one of the few times she got to tell him what to do. It was Shauna that asked him out first. He made her laugh while they cleaned those gross fast-food fryers. They ended up at the movies and then out with her all-time favorite and lifelong bestie, Disa. Early on in their relationship, Patrick asked Shauna's dad for his blessing in marriage, and then he asked Shauna for her hand in marriage. They were young and at the beginning of their life together. Patrick bought Shauna a gold ring with a small diamond as that is what they could afford. It was ring that symbolized their young love for one another. As a couple journeys through life their paths can often take twists and turns, and they become lost in the adventure we call life. Needless to say, neither Patrick nor Shauna felt the need to define their love with marriage. They both knew that being together is what mattered and that was the place they wanted to be... together. Now thirty plus years later, they both know they have always loved one another and always will. Patrick again asked Shauna to marry him with the same ring from all those years ago. The ring now symbolizes their start together and how the two of them have made a beautiful life together with many blessings that they are forever grateful for. While they have lived a happily ever life together, they now feel like it is right time to define their relationship as a happily after "married" couple. They can't wait to celebrate their love with all of you on December 6th, 2025!
