If Theodore tells the story of how they first met; he would say Sharon wouldn't stop looking at him with those eyes. If Sharon is telling the story on how they first met, she would say Theodore was basically circling her like a shark. Somewhere in between is the truth!

We had been together for a little over 2 months when I realized OMG.... this is my Boo. We went back to his place to look at a movie and chill. We were still not really comfortable around each other or shall I say I wasn't still fully comfortable? He turned the movie on and told me to get comfortable while giving me a pair of sweat pants and a t-shirt. On my way in to the bathroom to change he added, "oh and remove the wig too" while handing me a durag. I looked at him.... went in the bathroom put on the sweats, shirt and durag. I had my Color of Purple Celie plats and sat next to him. He kissed my head and rubbed it. I have never been so comfortable with another man in my life. His heart is BIG and he sees me for me. He made me so comfortable I was able to fall asleep and take a nap.. That day I knew I was his and he was mine and so I knew he was the one!

I first seen Sharon at a friend’s NYE party she was glowing when she came in. She was very quiet didn’t say much but to me she lit the entire room up. When the ball dropped she said her goodbyes, than started to make her way out the door. I had to get me a little hug before she left. A few days later I got a call from my friend’s wife who happened to work with Sharon and she asked me if I was single and was interested in meeting Sharon. I was so excited because I couldn’t stop thinking about the Vegan Girl who flipped my world around and I thought I’d never see again but I couldn’t pursue her because I was seeing someone. Times goes by I become single and my friend’s wife asks me if I ever sent Sharon a message. So I slide in her inbox like “Hey Big Head.” I explain who I am tell her that I haven’t stopped thinking about her since I see her which is very true told her she was stunning and a few slick lines a gentleman would say to a lady and she responded! Ever since I was young I’ve had a kind of list of qualities that make up a “grown woman “and I knew that was Sharon when I first seen her. Her confidence in knowing exactly what she wanted and demanded from day one was the single most amazing thing about Sharon. She told me that her husband is going to be Adventist and I was like OK what is Adventism. So we set aside some time and we had bible study together and she helped me understand some things about Adventism and other questions I had about the bible and God. Those talks we had meant so much to me and allowed me to really get to see the amazing person God has brought into my life. Fast forward its getting close to the time for Sharon to leave for ND and I'm very sure and confident in the fact that I'm beyond belief in love with this woman and I need her to be my wife. So from our many conversations I know she really doesn’t care for jewelry and would rather have a pair of heels “red bottoms." I got her a ring anyway because I love her and wanted to express how much.
