Do I need a passport?

Yes - if you do not already have your passport or if yours is expiring soon, please apply for one ASAP.

Do you have a group rate?

Answer

No. We want to provide our guests with the flexibility to use travel points and shop for the best rates possible. We recommend booking your rooms well in advance for the best rates and preferred room availability. We suggest utilizing Google’s price comparison tool. Simply type in “Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya” and you will see a price breakdown listing all pricing available either direct or via third party booking service. This is our favorite tool when shopping for the best prices available.

How far in advance should we book our stay?

Answer

We recommend booking your travel no less than 3-4 months in advance, but it never hurts to book sooner if you find good rates!

What is the max. occupancy per room?

Answer

The max occupancy per room is 2-3 people, depending on the room you are choosing. The hotel will not allow more than the listed occupancy # per room due to the all-inclusive nature of the resort.

Do the resort restaurants and bars have dress codes?

Yes! The hotel has FREE WiFi coverage throughout the resort with no dead zones.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

No. Unfortunately, Valentin Imperial Maya is an adults-only resort. They will not allow conditional access for anyone under the age of 18 to the wedding.

What is the weather like in December?

Answer

The weather is the best during this time of year. Expect lower than usual humidity with highs in the low-80s and lows in the mid-60s.

What currency do I need?

Answer

The Mexican currency is Pesos, however, some places will gladly accept USD. If you want to get pesos, be sure to order ahead of time through your bank for best exchange rates. Alternatively, you can get Mexican Pesos at the airport you are flying out of. We suggest having small denominations handy for tips.
