We are just a few days out. Many people are asking about the wedding and what to expect- how to dress- what to bring- are we registered??? This is designed to be a party, that starts with a short vow ceremony. The ceremony will be outside; Memphis in September is hot, even at 6:30 pm, so dress stylish, but not stuffy. The reception is inside the museum; expect air conditioning! Expect great, tasty appetizers and drinks and phenomenal music. That’s what Memphis is known for- and my favorite part of the city the music- and we plan to do right by my hometown. The party will be informal, plan to mingle and have a good time. There’s no registry; your presence is enough; but a wishing well will be provided for those who want to bless us even more. As for the normal wedding formalities….we are throwing most of those traditions out the door. So… no awkward flower toss or choreographed dance. Just plan to eat, drink and be merry!! We look forward to seeing and sharing the evening with you!!

That’s when the adventure started. For the next 3 years, we committed ourselves to date, exclusively, in two week intervals… traveling between Atlanta - Baltimore; Atlanta - Chicago; and/or Atlanta - Memphis. We built a solid foundation through shared love of God…which facilitated unconditional love in one another…which made us appreciate the work toward our companionship, as One, for His glory. On 2.15.2023, Colin proposed to me. And, now, a new adventure begins...
