One of our favorite places in Raleigh, Dorothea Dix Park is perfect for a peaceful walk, a picnic, or just soaking in the skyline views. It’s a beautiful spot to relax between wedding events, and depending on the weekend, there may even be Juneteenth celebrations or community events happening in the park. A great place to enjoy the city and maybe stumble into a little local culture while you're here!
If you're looking to kick back after the festivities, Bar Louie is a great spot for nightlife vibes without going full club mode. Think good cocktails, solid bites, and a fun atmosphere — perfect for hanging out, catching a late-night drink, and keeping the celebration going.
If being outside in the summer heat isn’t your thing, Raleigh has plenty of amazing indoor spots to enjoy. Looking for fun activities? There are tons of arcades, Topgolf, and great family-friendly stops downtown — including Raleigh’s wonderful museums, perfect if you brought little ones along for the trip.
