Why Oregon?

Answer

For a long time, Shannon has adored tall mountains and rocky cliffs and Roland has always loved misty pine tree forests. And if these two are going to make their nuptials something worth remembering, they both want it to feel like an exciting trip that is beautiful to them both. As with any trip, there will be highs and inevitable lows, but turning a ceremony into an adventure means that this ceremony of love gets to be a trip full of wanderlust, fun and excitement for everyone who decides to join us.

I thought you wanted to elope?

Answer

While a secluded vacation would be pretty rad, during the planning process, Roland and Shannon had realized they have people in their lives that have shaped and supported them into the glorious (very sappy and in love) people they are today. That's you! And it would be an honor to have you join in this celebration. Family and friendships mean the world to both Rolly and Shan. And while they both realize what a big ask a trip like this means - they invite you out of love, not necessity. Because we all know how important you are to these two people. Which probably means you wanna see them do the dang thing, too, huh?
